I have got to say this is an incredible wall you have here, the texture and theme of the whole wall goes really well with each-other, one thing I would change though would be the background, although at first glance it doesn't seem like a background makes all that much difference but I believe it is a decisive factor is making a good wall I'm aware that the point of attention "should" be fixed on the angel but making the background come out a bit more wouldn't hurt. Apart from these I love the wall *favorite* ^^

The wings are excellent! Though on the scan, i can see some slight extraction errors. Maybe fixing up the outer lines on bits of the scan can improve the image! The reflection effect used gives a nice effect though! ^^

The water is a little off and you can do with a different font face as well. Overall, the atmosphere is spot on.

The dark theme is pretty nice... The top of the middle chain is a bit weird, erased or something..

Nevertheless still a great wallpaper...

The background is looking really good, this nightly scenery looks very nice. The dark tower, the moonlight and the water looks very good. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well (maybe her skin could be just a bit darker). The text is looking good, very nice wallpaper.

My first thought was how the water looked like, it is unnatural somewhat as compared with good water effect. So my first advice is to look into creating water effects, tutorials are a plenty in Deviant Art, so the rest is all up to you.

Lighting is good, very focused, try to use lighting effects on characters too for the best effects.

I've seen several versions of this Carnelian scan, and I've been waiting for someone to finally get it right! The mood is good, and the lighting and shadows adds the contrast to her wings that were definitely lacking in the other versions. She also appears to seem clearer and more distinct - a result of the solid surface that she is given, I believe, and of course your handiwork.

I like how the chains are still visible, and the little trinket-like object by her head is a nice touch (doesn't detract from the wall at all).

I have one complaint - I don't like the words/title. I like the idea - let's not get that wrong. The whole faded words and staggered text is good. The problem is that their sizes don't look right in my opinion. There needs to be more difference, and your name is a bit large (although, it's good to make sure that you get your name out!).

Besides that, I really liked seeing this wall. Again, the lighting is really good!

Oh - I forgot to add more one point: thus, a textless version would be nice! (It might be weird with that empty space, but with the lighting, and positioning of everything else, I think that it would be fine.)

I love it, I really like the wings and the girl. The dark backgrounds fits well.

Excellent concept, nice scan, superb background and very nice creativity with the chains around her wings.

The font you used also fits perfectly and I like the glowing orb you placed in it, makes it stand out a lot.

hmm... the angel extract looked kinda fuzzy. if you compare it with the crystal clear background, it makes the angel just look sticker on a backdrop. but i did like the lighting effects and the reflection. thank you for sharing.

This wall is very cool I have to admit. The location is just right for the mood. The water effect is good but the thing at her feet is better off without. Was it meant to be an anklet or water droplet? The rest of the detail is great.

I've seen a lot of variations for this scan. You've successfully created your very own wall with it. I really like how the chains wrapped around the wings. The character's reflection in the water is nicely done, and everything is wrapped up with a dark ancient temple-type background. Her wings are the prettiest I've seen so far in all the walls I've come across. I also like what you did with the rays of light, as well as the water effects. Great work~

Love the background and how it blends with the scan! I love the choice of colours and definitely the reflection on the water. I commend you on the lighting on the wings. It's done very well and looks really nice as it contrasts with the dark wall and water. I would personally change the colour of the wall because right now it blends too well with the water. I'd also make the chains more visible when its above the wings and in the darkness because it looks like they are randomly appearing onto the wings. Finally I'd focus on changing the font of the text and because it doesn't fit well with the rest of the image. I'd fade the opacity of the repeating white words so that they don't stand out and draw all the attention of the viewer. Other than that I love the wall. Nice work and keep it up. +fav

love the wings! it's sort of icy wings..hehehe... well, you can remove that light thing on the text... I think it will be better in that way (it's just my opinion)... another, if you stick to your background (well it looks good to me) maybe you can lighter the color of the chains so that it's kinda noticeable even in a small size of the wallpaper... and lastly, the left wing particularly the edge of it, the chain there is kinda odd for me... as if it's connection has been dissolved in no reasons... overall, nice wallpaper! good job!

Beautiful. What I love the most is the amazing lightening of her wings, which also fits perfectly with the dark background. It brings the needed source of light there and makes the wall balanced. But even if the bg is very dark, it's filled with interesting details and it's seen you didn't miss anything.

And yes, I really love this color theme.
