This is my wall for the N.E.W.A contest currently running at the moment The contest is on " The Best Female Role Model "

And for this I have chosen "Riza Hawkeye" From Full Metal Alchemist

Reason for my choice I've always wanted to make a Hawkeye wallpaper, And this contest was the perfect chance.

What makes her The Female Perfect role model? Riza Hawkeye is a strong upstanding military officer, Who can hold her own as the only female officer in her division and the only officer to stand up to Mustang when his ego get's too big. I seldom find Female character's in anime these days who keeps their cloths on and stays dignified and dedicated.

Character scan The Original Scan is By Dioma, I chose this scan because it is a good upfront image of Hawkeye Which shows her strong side.

Background I've gone for a Grunge Street style with Grafiti Treat on the lower half With stencil Luger Pistols for Decoration with abstract circle art, for the most modern street style

Text I've chosen the Linkin Park Font And the Phrase "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" Which I'm sure is the title of a james bond song, But most effective for my portrayal of Riza.

Overall Overall I've but a fair bit of work into this all in hopes of of making the top 3 in the contest, Hopefully my Rational Will give you all insight into what I'm trying to show.

Beautiful scan of Riza, character I love. Also the background, the Grafiti effect is perfect.
But Riza is too confused with the black-and-white background. It would have been better if the character was color. Anyway good job ^^ and sorry for the English, I'm Italian ^^'''

Great wallpaper! The fact that it's gray scaled adds that little extra to the overall work. Besides, Lt. Hawkeye's simply great ^_^

The scan is very nice, and you did a good job on it, but it would look a little better if the color was drained, rather than being totally removed.

The way she's pointing her gun at you looks so cute. The shoulders and the smile and the little tilt in her body position add up to a make it looks really good, and deadly =P.

this is a beautiful black and white piece!!! the background is a simple and reminds me slightly of a anti-gagne background.!!! if only i knew who this character was!!!she looks so intresting!
