Yeah, you might notice the 2007-2008, really I have no clue how long this took, but it's been in SZ for over a month now, and I put it there like a month after I even made it so I'd hazard a guess that it's been a work in progress for about 4 months now... I haven't really worked on it all that much however... anyways:
+2 scans used 
+vectored both the girls, took like 3 days if I remember correctly
+used PSCS2 to highlight 
+then just made the wallpaper and text using some custom brushes, etc. fairly basic imo, but I'm not one for super detail, especially when it comes to backgrounds... I suck frankly xP
Well, there you go, I tried to make the background at least bearable xP, I'm much more proud of my vectors here. Lol, and I'd like to give thanks to my friends who kinda prodded me to submit (they don't know it though) xD.
Hope you like it and I hope I got all the resolutions right...
Edit: I prefer and spent the most time on the widescreen version if you care to check it out =D you can see more of the vector and better text positioning, not enough space in square monitors imo (srry none widescreeners) xP

This looks really good. It seems the time spent on making this is well worth it. 'Tis good that ya made it for us widescreen users (wouldn't have it any other way). It's always a plus for any wall that is formatted in that way.

A very good wallpaper even if i haven't watched this anime. Only a question : why when you see the large image before downloading the text is placed in the middle (between the 2 girls) and the wallpaper you get have the writing placed at the left ??? I think it was better with the writing in the middle.

OH! That's great of this wall! The two girls look like very pretty, the pink color background is very suitable for them, the text placed betweeen two girls is very nice! I very lovw this wall, i will save it at once!! ths!

Cool!! I love it :DD Scans are so sexy... so so sexy... xDD Bckground too likes me, is simple but good worked. In fact the only thing what i does not put it as my desktop background is for icons. There is no place for desktop icons :(( I think you must to keep a space in the left side (for me) for the desktop icons. Everything else is really great. Just downloading it. Good job :))

It's Nice Wallpaper. Two Cheerleaders in This Wallpaper are Very Attractive and Beautiful. I Think the Uniforms are Well-Match for Their Owner's Smiling Faces. They are a Little Sexy and Charming. Effects and Marks of Heart in Pink Colors in the Background are Soft and Delicate. I Like Your Sence about Them. Shyness and Confidence in Their Face Create Interesting Combination. Such a beautiful job vectoring! I especially love the highlights in the hair and the softness of the skin; especially on the legs of the characters. The background you created is both visually appealing and compliments the facial expressions of the characters. It makes me think about what kind of girls they are when they are in love. Very cute! The only think that I dislike about the image is the title at the top...whether in the middle like shown on the main page or to the left on the high res. copy, either way...I just feel like it's not really needed and takes away from the image... I'd like to be able to see the whole of both of the characters. The logo itself does flow nicely with the feel of the image though...so maybe if you just made it smaller so as to not cover the characters it would be just as nice.

Very lovely kawaii wallpaper. Wow the background with the mix light and dark pink colouring is awesome,the colouring matches the lovely cute scenery,the love designs and patterns on the background is wonderful and cute,the letters are also very nicely made plus the title of the anime name is so cute,this wallpaper is an excellent masterpiece of the art,its awesome.
The 2 girls are very lovely with their beautiful cheerleader outfit which makes them so sexy and sweet,their faces are so lovely and cute and their art designs and the way they are positioned is so cute their eyes are very nicely drawn with beautiful feelins and emotions,their hair is lovely,especially the yellow haired girl,nice long and very beautiful hair,the girl with the purple hair is also georgeous,she is cute too,these 2 girls are so |(VcV)|and they fit perfectly into the love background and scenery,this wallpaper is the best and the loveliest wallpaper of aoi nanase ever,its awesomely full of kawaiiness,and its so wonderful and touching,i love it so much,its the best ever,great artwork,good job,well done

WOW! That is a really well-crafted piece of artwork. It is reminiscent of anime of old such as "Candy Candy". I think you've used light and shade to capture the characters beauty and old style charm perfectly. A new favourite!
