Hello and Greetings once again all! Here is stage 3 of my Hellgirl wall i have been working on. The original, which has been taken down, was too text heavy, so at the suggestion of one of you fine folk, the text was removed. This gave for a dramatic image on a black background. This looked great for a while, but the abscence of other elements in the background began to eat at me. Plus another member suggested adding something was well. On a side note, the vector scan was provided for this wall by Astrologica (ty very much for the great scan!)
After rummaging around in photoshop, i found some spiffy brushes and decided to try to give the background a dark pool effect. I figured it was fitting considering Hellgirl's mode of transport for taking condemned souls to hell...
Anywhoo, I brought back the logo, shrank it a bit and positioned it in the saddest loneliest corner for some decor. You know the drill guys, let me know something so i can get the best wall i can! Feedback is always welcome! It's not like i'd use hellgirl's website to send ya to a bad place for being a critic...

Alighty, this is looking like the final version of the work. I would have to agree with Yukiko-san about the background being too distracting. At first I was feeling it was too empty, but after staring at it for a bit, it weakens the impact of image. So I'm going to leave this version up for a couple o hours, then if there are no more suggestions, I'll submit it to the gallery.

Omg how could they give this a C it's beautiful, red is my fav color and it's perfected in this wall |(VcV)| it looks so much more amazing once you download the whole thing, I love the background you chose it fits great, I love it's simplicity A+ and a fav really nice job .(n_n).

I agree that there is no need to put extra stuff in the background. It looks great this way. And the vector you made is sooo clean and beautiful |(VcV)| I hope this wall will get at least A soon. It really deserves it.

Flowers are really nice and colors look very good. But I don't like the caption, it doesn't fit the rest but everything else is beautiful :)

The scan you based this on is absolutely gorgeous and you did a great job vectoring it. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to tune down the blur a bit, but otherwise; good job.

the vibrancy of the color of her hair is quite stunning. i also like the words in the top right. really overall a very good wall. keep up the good work.

The wallpaper maybe plain, but it's interesting due to the characters glowing red hair, there isn't anything too interesting but it's not too boring either, the vectoring of the wallpaper is also very nicely done, good job! Keep it up!

The colours of this really caught my attention right away! The vibrant red looks really great against the darker colours in the background. I love how you brought people's attention the girl with such a striking red color placed in her hair. Such good work.
