This is my newest wallpaper from a black and white scan. This one is from Saikano manga. I started to read the manga after watching the TV series. The wallpaper is composed from 2 different scenes. Reading the manga, I was surprised how well this 2 scenes match together. At first the background was not part of this wallpaper. It was something like an "option" from witch to pick up. I was planning to use some background from other manga, but after finishing the main character I decided that the first background will make this scene complete. I may have exaggerated a little with the fire effects, but it was meant to ilustrate a mass explosion and total destruction. I wanted to create the same filling that was in the TV series. The main problem in this wall is the low resolution. Both of my original scans are at low resolutions so this wallpaper is at 1024 x 768 pixels. (because of this problem, I almost abandoned the wallpaper) One last thing... this is the original scans from witch I made the wall.http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a130/LordICE/Saikanov02028-029.jpg

Nice bacground, nice colors, this is a really good wallpaper the no lines in the vector is great, the character is excelellent, don't interrupt the icons in the desktop, and that is really important to me, one of the things i most look in a wall is that. and what can i say about the serie, is one of mi favorites. Poor Chise with that fate

i feel that your work is really nice but the one reason that it didnt get a good response from everyone on the site is because of the screen resolution. no one uses 1024x768 and 800x600 screens anymore. everyone's either got 1600x1200 or 1280x1024 or 1280x800 next time you make a wall try to make it in these resolution. 1920x1200, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024. this will get your wall more attention.

oh!!1 and one more thing i forgot to say.. you need ot work on blending every element of your wallpaper. in this wall everything kinda looks out of place with the other. the stuff looks great if you look at each piece that makes your wallpaper separately but when you look at it all together the way it is right now, nothing seems to fit in.

Wow I love the art..its breathtaking and beautiful it reminds me of old Japanese paintings. The flames do as well. I like the piece very very much! The colors are some of favorites on wallpapers and the premise of it certainly tells a story. Nice.

I know that this wallpaper suffers because of the low resolution (I mentioned that in the first post), but even so I wanted to finish this because... because I felt so. For my, making anime wallpapers is something that I do in my free time (like a hobby), and I do this because I liked the TV series/manga very much. What I'm saying is that the resolution was somehow on the second place, but I do agree with you about this.

On the blending problem... I can't really say if your right or wrong. This is my style to edit, like every one have their own style. So basically I don't know if that is good or bad.

When I make wallpapers, AMV's or anything els, I like to illustrate something through that (thanks for seeing that Swing2Harmony).

gran fondo. me gusta la forma en que pintaste las flamas. y el personaje le da un tono de destruccion y soledad que le dan mucha vida. es un magnifico aporte, espero que algun dia pueda hacer algo tan bueno como eso.
