Hello all! This is my first wallpaper submission here, also is my first vector attempt! At the beginning, I just wanted to try out vectors for fun and this manga picture caught my eyes. After I've finished it, I'd thought I might as well give it a background and here it is.
Scan: title page of manga chapter 173. The original scan I've used was from random web search which I couldn't locate it anymore. Anyway, AP's Scan session also has a scan of it [http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Tsubasa-Chronicle/item153780/]. Time taken: em... actually whenever I was free, so four to five days (few hours per day) I think in total. About half of the time I spent on vectoring Sakura. Most difficult part: the LAKE!p(T_T)q I've went through a handful of tutorials on ripples and reflections, then another handful of trials on the chosen one, but this is also the fun part. Easiest part: heheh, drawing the background hills and stars By the way, the moon is from a real photo out of the web, I've made it brighter, blurer, and rotated it.

nice effect XD the bg's fine, but maybe u should use softer color + color adjustment for ur vector coz sakura looks a bit contrast with the bg (the bg looks almost real XD) that's just my opinion XD and fav since it looks beautiful :)

The vector is very lovely and neatly done (I always pictured those colors on Sakura's dress in that scan! ^_^ )The water is also nicely done, but something about the hill in the background... just seems kind of off with the rest of the wallpaper... One thing about it that somewhat bothers me is the fact that I can see where you repeated the same brushes over and over, which isn't inherently bad but they aren't varying in size, and that's part of what made it so noticeable. But other than that it looks really nice.
I've been trying to vector that same image for over a month and I'm not getting anywhere, so I'm glad to see someone else has finally made a nice wall out of this scan.Nice, ethereal wallpaper! <3

You're first time? Are you sure? ... I bet it's not! :D Your vector is nicely done. I love the glow that's coming out of Sakura's hand and that colorful star... atleast I think it's stars or just colorful dots. The background is pretty and the lake's reflection is kinda ok. Sakura's dress reflection looks weird.

Great job for your first wall~ This wall exudes a feeling of calmness, peacefulness and of course, in line with the title, serenity. The image of Sakura is a little bit too small for my liking though ^^ Anyway, Sakura 'floating' on the suits the scan, because her clothes are dropping to the ground as though she is already flying in the first place >.<
I love how you did the moon, and how it's shine is reflected in the water. Nice touch it adds to the wall~ The mist above the water is nice too, although it seems to lack a little in variety (it looks the same to me) The shadows of the mountains in the water are nicely done too ^^ On the other hand, I would like a little difference in the colours of the water, like some places darker, some lighter and so on. Other than that, everything blends together just perfectly~
But, since it's your first wall, I'm going to give you the praise you deserve...This wall rocks!! Keep up the good job!

I was really sad when Aeris was killed. I really liked the animation that was done in the game a she sank away into the water after cloud killed her. Ofcourse not on purpose. I feel that this piece shows a part of the game with someforshadowing of her death by her laying in water.

It's really amazing for a first vector and the lake reflections and everything are beautiful. I love your concept. It would be even better if the colours on Sakura were a little softer and darker to fit in more with your background. :D
