Final Fantasy XIII The Frozen Throne

For your first wallpaper, it looks very nice. It's really nicely put together and doesn't really show the signs that it was someone's first wallpaper. It doesn't look like what most people would create as their first wallpaper (ie: some random background with a picture cut and pasted onto =( ) ). Colour scheme is nice, and the layers are blended nicely on top of each other. I think you did an excellent job. Thanks for the wallpaper and hope to see more walls for you. =)

I think this is really,really well done for a first time wallpaper.Its so organized,so clean...Love how the center image was used and the city below him like him that,it really shows he is really the ruler of that city.

This is probably the best FFXIII Versus wallpaper I have seen,being that those images you used are my favorites.Definate favorite.

Way too many errors man. This is definitely something I would expect from a first wallpaper especially seeing as you didn't fade the scans all the way.

Anyway, for your first wallpaper, this is awesome. This is a tough wall to make because all you can really do is clean up the scans and hope for the best. I'm really really impressed and excited to use this as a wallpaper. Great job, fav'd & sav'd!

Very nice and clean images. They blend okay into each other but not so well into the black background (eg, the distinct blue lines on the left and right of the images should fade into the black) Very nice for your first wall, though! I can see that you had a good design in mind. I like the moon and the city at the bottom and, besides the underlining, the text is okay too. :) Keep it up! You have good potential!

hey i remember seeing this in session zero didnt know if itd make it to the gallery or not, i always c heaps of walls there that dnt go ne further than session zero, but hey, looks like ur not one of em good job, like the finished version, the pale-skin tone gives the feeling of cold and goes well with the 'frozen' theme definitely a good first wall keep it up

Next time, maybe provide links to the original scans you started from? It's hard for me to judge what all you did to the wall to come up with this, so it might be easier for people to critique if they could see all the work you put into it! I think you did a good job on the blending, and I like the inverted city. I might move the moon slightly to the left...is it slightly off-center? Good job overall!

The 2 heads beside the throne, was an idea that i probably would have had but never knew how to use it right. And i cant say that u did either, but it wasnt too bad.

However, using the reflection effect on the floor to give the "icy" (well it is the frozen throne) was actually pretty smart. Should added a bit more stuff on it and wouldve been excellent.

Overall, i think that this first submission isnt too shabby, moreover, better than most ive seen.

and IMO: You shouldn't have added the text "the frozen throne" in the wall...it kinda ruined it

Wow, this is impressive for a first submission. Wish I were this talented...or perhaps you've had prior experience? I did and I still didn't do too well. Haha.

Oh well, it is a good wallpaper! Although, I have to agree with BlackVice, the text definitely didn't add to the wallpaper. But the rest assuredly overcompensates for it in a positive manner, awesome!

The city...just a personal preference, but it looks a bit...odd cropped like that. But then again, I guess that's what makes me a shoddy artist. XD

For a first wallpaper, this is superb. I like the darkness of it all. Some people will get really jealous of your skills, so don't worry about them and keep up the good work. =)

My, that's pretty. The composition is lovely; smooth transitions between the different images and just overall fantastic quality for the type of scan (y'know, that 3D Squeenix CG). Also, I love that font; mind giving me the name? 8D

Hmm, overall I like it! First wallpaper or not, I still think that you've done a pretty good job.

Some things to think about/change? if you were ever to do some more work on this wall some more.

1) I don't know what your thoughts on this are, but to me the face of the guy sitting on the throne (don't know his name, sorry; only familiar with a few earlier of the final fantasy series) seems a bit too blurry. That may just be your preference, but on lower resolution desktops like mine, his face, which is rather small, is hard to make any details out on.

2) With the two bars of black on the side, it seems to me that the cutoff point is too abrupt; or rather, the blue doesn't blend into the black gradually enough. Having the two "bars" of black on each side does look a bit strange on a widescreen wall, where you would normally expect more of the space to be filled up somehow. Again, this might just be more of a preference on my part.

Nonetheless, the reflection of the city and the blue really do bring out an overall chilly feel to this wall, which is very cool. Keep up the good work, and I'm hoping to see some more submissions from you!

Except for the fact that the scans don't blend too well with the background I really like this wallpaper! ^^ I really like your idea of putting that image of the city there as a reflection on the floor. What I can say but cool. The original picture is already so cool ,now addition two close-up of faces,it is more cool.Whether the left face or the right one is cool.With the cold color of the backgrand,the wallpaper is sending out cool sense everywhere. The moon's inverted image give eyes a lighting.It's really nice!^_^ Thanks for a COOL wallpaper!!!

Not sure what full-metal was referring to when he/she said there were way too many errors. The least someone could do if they're going to mention errors is to make SPECIFIC REFERENCES so that the wall creator can use the comment as constructive criticism instead of just idiotic flaming.

That being said, I think this is an awesome wall. I haven't gotten to play XIII yet (sadly), so I'm not privy to who the characters are, but this is still an excellent image. Keep up the good work.
