wow i saw this on sessions, it looked good then, and hope it turned out similar, that it did, i like have u left much of the same,and just took out some worldly gestures. i think its a magnificent pic of Kotomi playing the Violin she loves to play but is not good at...., but it symbolizes her, thats what i think.

One reason to get this wall, (well aside from the cool concept, though I prefer a change of BG color, or make her a little shiny since this is Kotomi's "moment") IT'S A KOTOMI-CHAN WALL!!!

Oh, I remember this wall but it suddenly disappeared from my grasp a month ago, and now it has returned with an awesome vector of Kotomi. I have to admit, well done on the vector work, it's decent and as you have said, very time consuming. I love the simplicity of the whole wall, especially the lines and the fading effect but I have mix feelings regarding the splatters. Overall, it's nice, clean and a kick-ass wall -- love the concept. ^^

Loving the simplicity, though the vectored coloured lines could be a little more fancy. Other than that this is done pretty well ;p!, though the background is a bit too empty, maybe a few more swirly lines would make the wall look even better!

Hm... here's a little what I think- As suggested it would turn out a whole lot better had you not used path stroking... The lines can also be made less thick with the shape outlines method. I personally also don't like the random splatting around, probably because of her face expression, the wallpaper has a serious melancholy feel, and the splat kinda kills it.

But it's a decent wallie.

I agree that the splats kind of throw off the picture. It kind of adds this imbalance to the picture and kind of takes away from the simplicity. The only other thing i would say is that the space in the upper left is kind of odd. Some splatters there would make the splatters on the right side seem more than just ranomd spots. Other than that it is a nice wallpaper. Though it is odd how the violin comes out of her trachea but I guess the scan can't be helped. [insert generic praise as seen above]

I really love this!! I think you did a great job with the vector and I love the effect of the rainbow and music notes, even the paint splatter. It all works so well with Kotomi and her violin playing. I'm definitely saving this one!

ah this is a nice wallpaper, kotomi was my favourite character from clannad and this just suits her perfectly. excellent job all round.

I always Remind Lonely Starring StringFellow Hawke When I See Characters Playing a String Alone. I Saw Its Original Scan. It You Included the Audience in the Scene, It Would be Very Funny and Comic. Dim Colors in the Background are Calm and Silent. I Think They Make the Music She is Playing be a Little Vacant. Arts and Colors in Curved Lines and Musical Notes are Graceful and Delicate. I Like Your Sence about Them. Thanks for Your Good Work.

The vector is kinda awesome, just that the violin is a little bit out of shape (violins have sharper edges). And I think the rainbow and musical notes are too solid, music is supposed to be more flowing and simple ^^ That was me speaking as a musician.

On the other hand, if I view it with a normal eye, this wall is beautiful enough ^^ I don't mind about the splotches in particular, but I don't quite agree with the bar at the bottom - it disrupts the whole feeling, especially at the dress part.

She doesn't look like she is enjoying her music. :P But it is a very nice design and vector. Keep up the good work. :D

Ooh... This is one very nice wallpaper!!! I simply loved the way that you placed that three coloured line (whatever you call it) because it makes the wallpaper (and not to forget mentioning, Kotomi) look very lively. I also loved the background and foreground objects (splash) because it adds to the livelyness of the entire wallpaper... too bad there was so few of them... I reckon if you add a bit more to the left side of the wallpaper it would look a lot nicer. Keep up the good work!

Nice vectoring! Poor girl is unaware of how she plays her music xD I like how to made that rainbow music note coming out of her violin. The density of the girl looks very well colorized too.

I didn't know that I can like wallpaper with the character I definietly don't like. Somehow it really caught my eye. Maybe cause I love violins ? Who knows ?

I didn't have the chance to see this before you made it into a vector, but from what I can tell it looks better as a vector, as you have made it. Everything blends together that way. I love how the lines flow and that they don't take up too much or too little space on the wallpaper in general. The splatters seem a bit random to me, but it still looks nice!

The waves escaping from the violin strings are the best part. A clean and controlled design; I like the idea of music and emerging freedom demonstrated with the multi-coloured waves.
