ef ~a tale of memories was definitely in my top five anime this year. SHAFT really proved that they can pull off good drama as well as excellent comedy, which was highlighted by the more subtle jokes in this series as opposed to its others, such as Paniponi and Negima. Seriously though, I sobbed at the end, and I'm not afraid to admit it! For that reason, I really wanted to do something with Chiharu and Renji, but so far I haven't gotten any good inspiration on that front. Bummer. Instead, here's one of Miyako! In spite of her "issues", she's really a nice girl, isn't she? And a great smile, to boot!
As for technicals, this was my second vector and, I think, a vast improvement over my first, regardless of its apparent simplicity (I can assure you, it wasn't!). The muted colors look really good on this one, and I've always been fond of color combinations with pink and green.
On another note, I really should crop these before I get started. I lost a lot of awesome stuff with this one. OTL

I like the vector - you did a good job. But there isn't much going on in the wall. And I'm not a big fan of the dull colours; she looks like she is in a shadow. Would be better with brighter colour choices, I think.

Hmm, interesting picture. I'm not sure that I would like to use this wallpaper though. Its kind of like when a person runs up to your face and starts talking to you. Other than that weird feeling, its kind of just a picture. I mean I understand you vector and what not but I can't say that its mind blowingly great.

KAWAII!! this cute as, nicely done. it might not use it as a wallpaper because i tend not to use ones with thats nothing but a face but its still really well done.

Lovely! its a lil jaggy at the bottom of her wings... thats all! Glad U added the dress I like how U smudge the wings^^ Really differeent from the scan... The hills are really nice too... I like the way the city burst into flames! I like everything! Wah! @__@ Good job +fav & fea
