I love the concept you have going on here, it reminds me of the the lights and colors at a rave so bright and vibrant, and the abstract appeals to me alot more then just a normal wall, and how it's put to one side so you can focus more are th character is great and even down to the suttle detail of the lettering is great A+ and a fav nice job |(VcV)|

Reslly nice approch to this scan. I usually see Ths Haruhi in some kind of lonely/romantic/scenic view. Here I see a funky work, that has a lot of energy in it. Nice work.

Grats on getting it accepted! Looks really good, though I personally still like the one slightly more centered. Though someone with icons over on the right may prefer the left-oriented one ^_^

Good paper there. Even I don't know what is The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, but I like the character.

I was literally in awe when this thing loaded... The light effects from the lighthouse are absolutely awesome, as in how they focus outward and onto our lil' spirit friend. The setting sun (I assume) time of day in the clouds gives a dark-tone to the piece emphasizing that this lil' gal ain't made of hot cakes and fuzzy feelings. The bandages, same thing in darkening the tone.

The water... simply WOW. You capture the calm before the storm (most likely to be caused by the spirit) in that it is a stagnant sea. Something that is a foreboding image to begin with.

Only thing is I'm not quite sure what those dot-like things are. Lens flare I'm assuming. Though they look like maybe spirits. The three rubber duck (sorry, that's what they look like to me ) things, one on our right and 2 on the left.

Regardless, downloaded and favoritized.

nahh, not too abstract :P its really great. the colours fit and the lighting and 'abstractyness' really add character. Haruhi's my 2nd favourite female character too! matsumoto's my first, but I can't find any good vectors of her...
