Carnelian Hidden Sanctuary

hmm first comment? well i gotta say i like this wallpaper very much. just the surrounding is very koo, reminds me about the unique surroundings in ape escape the game for play station. that aspect is very appealing to the eyes, the beautiful lady in teh middle is a ++ bonus :D XD i rarely comment but yea u got me , i give u props :D

Okay, ignoring the fact that I completely despise carnelian (and I really do) I think the concept for the wall is pretty. I usually don't comment on wallpapers with the artwork. I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of detail in the larger ivy though. Things like folds in the leaves. The smaller stuff looks nice, but the larger stuff...leaves some to be desired. I rather like the water, although I wish it was a bit more glass like as opposed to having ripples aded jut to try and make it look like water. Overall I'm a bit confused by the lighting. I'm really not sure where it's coming from. I'm a lighting whore, so I guess it probably only bothers me. I also feel the scan is too soft for the background. I know backgrounds like this are hard to pull of though, so I give you kudos for at least trying. Yes, i'm picky, but we all knew that already, didn't we. I think the concept is lovely, I just think some more detail should have been paid attention to things. And boy do I wish it wasn't carnelian, but I'm completely aware that it's personal preference.

You should put up a direct link to the original scan so people could compare better...but I love this, the background is lovely, I'm loving the collums and the waterfall as well. great work.

well yay to this then , i had a similar concept in my mind but didn't think i could execute it well enough so there you go ..thanks for putting into action what i couldn't great work though but for me . the scan compared to the background is soft , it would enhance the wall if the pillars carried that same soft feel.. ah well ... it's still a great wall none the less :P

wow this totally a nice sanctuary. and yup! the scan is beautiful too! i like how you did on bg! the pillars are greatly done! also the water and its ripples. but i have a same comment as Kalico said. the bg needs more details like the leaves which i like it since the placement is nice though it need more color or shading because it looks too plain, next is the back of the bg, well i'm not sure if that is a waterfalls but i like the grainess also the flowing of water but i guess the lighting is a bit bright and lasty the scan though i like the scan used but it would be nice if you can make it a bit darker or some parts are bright since the whole wall is a bit darker as said in your title it is hidden. well that's all! overall i love you concept + the ripples are just awesome! +fav! for the ripples dood!

That is completely amzing... 120 something layers? That's crazy! I'm sure there are a lot of people who adores it. Thank you for your hard work.

Wow a very good sanctuary paper. I like the calm atmosphere it gives off. A definite favorite.

The background looks beautiful, the lake, the pillars, even the waterfalls look nice, though the waterfalls' color could be just a bit darker, to make them a bit less bright. The character looks very good too, she fits to the background well. Very nice wallpaper.

This looks wonderfully peaceful... Overall I am impressed with the work and I think that the concept works very well with this scan.

The wallpaper looks nice and I like the concept but I don't like the way the hem of the skirt is still above water. The length of it makes it look though the tips of the hems should have emerged in the water?

Beautiful wallpaper. The scan is gorgeous and clean. The sun-staff she's carrying is very nice. I love the clouds, too. They look great...very puffy. My favorite part of the wallpaper is the day/night transition in the background. That is just...wow. Awesome.

This picture is so beautifully design, as usual very impressive as all your other work, your airbrush skill still exist in your hands, your design reach a higher height. The girl angel is nice, but u have mirror the background, its a very obivious since the light effects and cloud position are so constant. You have put in effort to create this though. Keep up the good work and share more of your artwork. thank for creating this I shall add this to favourite
