Neat. I think the only thing I was expecting that wasn't there were some brightly lit cobblestones near to the old mystic fire, which then rapidly fade out to black.

I like how the bg is out of focus, but you can still sorta see detail and make out what stuff is.

Oh... the finished product XD Interesting take on what I said. A couple pointers for next time though... The photo needs more manipulation in the sense that there's too much color in it still which leads to artifacting. One thing you could try is desaturating the photo and setting a color layer of brown or blue, or whatever. It basically makes photos look more 2D than 3D which really helps when you're doing anime walls :D Nice job though ^^

Blue flames are a great effect. Never thought of using blue fire with FMA, but it did turn out real nice.

I realy like the contrast in this wallpaper, both the background and foreground stand out but they aren't getting in eachothers way, and the end result isn't too busy.

A very good, "dark" wallpaper! It's not too often when Ed's in that stage of using alchemy in a wallpaper and the whole thing was pulled off nicely around it.

I think the colour scheme goes well with the anime, and as a person who wouldn't normally get an icon or wallpaper with alphonse in this wallpaper has had a totally different affect with me and i love that both the brothers are in it. It is really good and i'm defiently going to add it to my favourites!

Its a really cool wall for Full Metal Alchemist fans. The over exposure of Al and Ed is a bit distracting, and i agree with Nat, there could also be some brown in there which wouldn't look out of place with Ed's red coat. Very nice result none the less, i like the architecture and the gradient/bleeds of blue. wd ^_^

Hmm, the background is blurred, as compared to the sharp picture. Too much of a contrast, IMO. Also, it looked like you squeezed in too many effects into one picture. The top parts looks slightly shabby, BUT, the bottom looks very well done :)

Fantastic art. The style of the wallpaper is wonderful. The only problem in my mind is that some of the colors look underexposed while others look overexposed at the same time. Overall, a good wallpaper that, with some color correction, would be a great wallpaper.

I love the blue 'plasma' effect coming from the transmutation circle. It adds a huge amount to the wallpaper! I also love the intense shadows and dark feeling that the blue colours add to this image! Excellent work ^^

Nice effects! The swirling looks like water freezing up and becoming ice, like as if Edward performed alchemy to cause the effect. Fav it!

Love the blue flames coming up from the alchemy circle. My only complaint is that the background feels kinda faded out by the fade to black on the corners. It seems like there's more detail in the background that I could be seeing, but other than that it's a good wall.

that pretty wallpaper, I'm much attention by the impact and position, and indeed this pretty good ... edward and the rendering of the're too cool (_/)..... transmutation of the circle with this position and the effect that this simply adds espectaacular ... and say that neither of the rays emerging from transmutasion circle, this bright highlights and flashes or sparks that accompanies it are great, situated at the place where render this perfect, nuves at the bottom and part of the SIDES is another excellent detail and best of all is that perfectly combines with the model being used to make the wallpaper|(n_n)|, the fog combined with glare and the black background makes the work look even more attractive to what this , Great job man, the style of this wonderful wallpaper, greetings(n_n)-b

that nice wallpaper, I attracted a lot of attention for the effects and position, and really is quite good ... the effect of the sky to the bottom of the wallapaper gives you more life ... the rendering of full metal and it is rather like one of my favorite series, the landscape of ruins or whatever that is located behind the render very well and highlights the management of the blue color is appreciable ... actually the blue color is very manageable, the nuves at the bottom and part of the sides is another excellent detail and best of all, it goes perfectly with the model being used to make wallpaper, the fog combined with flashes black and the background make the work look even more attractive as this, great job man, the style of this wonderful wallpaper (n_n)~

I typically hold a very strong distaste for the Original FullMetal Alchemist series, (Yes, Brotherhood wasn't around when you made this.) But back years, and years ago I found this off of a google search, and fell in love with it. This, to this day, remains one of my favorite wallpapers of all time. It's beautiful, and I'd say I probably prefer this over everything with the Brotherhood models, just because of how well done it was. Anyways, I lost that computer a while ago, and with it, this wallpaper. I'm so thankful for finding it again, and being able to let the artist know how great of a job he did.
