I always likewalls that make good use of text, although in some parts here, I think you have outdone it (like making letters mirrored vertically)

Still, nice vector and concept, plus I like colors ^^ And monitor adjustment were not needed :p

Gosh, Anbuu...a fantastic wall. Maybe AP featured? For me, yes. It resembles me a little your Mugen wall, but this one is even better. The text on the first try looks somehow chaotic, but if you beginn to observe them than you find out that is everyone perfectly matches the other. Is the best side of this wall. Could taken a lot of time to done it together. But nothing less excepted from you.

Now this is raw talent here, you are amazing, I've never seen such an awesome death note wall, I love the resolution and how in full view on an LCD screen you can see Ryuk on Lights clothes that is pretty great, on top of the incredible job you did on the text and colors red and black looks so classy even more so with white as the background, it's crisp and smooth vectoring job couldn't have been more perfect. ah, seeing this wall makes me want to wall death note again after having not touched anything death note related for so long...been half a year almost, i think. there has been a ton of DN walls between now and my last DN piece, but only upon seeing this have i felt nostalgia. that alone makes this special. =] maybe it's because i've also done the put-a-face-onto-Light's-clothes thing xD three faces, actually, but your way is superior.

warning: i have a feeling that i will ramble (and comment on the tiniest things). please deal with me if you do actually reading this. :'D anyway, i am really fond of the concept behind this. black + white + red is a stylish combination and it goes well with the crispness of the wall. your vectoring skills are also solid. a few things though. the shading on big Light's ear is weird because it doesn't seem to follow the ordinary ear contour. the solidity of the black as shading for his chin makes that area a bit odd (i guess it was like that originally >__<). the red border on that image of light down at the bottom is odd and i noticed the black layer of that vector doesn't fully line up with the gray (ear) layer underneath.

i'm impressed by the cleverness of the arrangement of the words and how everything should be read -- it's unique but also figure-out-able. :3 just a little thing though: you misspelled "shorten" as "shorrten" in the section to the right of L.

with the sheer amount of text, the legibility of it, and the black-on-white contrast, i admit, the first impression i had of your typography was one of intimidation. :'D it's probably because when i use a lot of text, i use layering or a more...art-oriented design. one of the ideas that popped into my head about your wall was that white splatters extending from the white bg could "eat up" parts of the text, thus creating more negative space. however, i am guessing that you want the text to have full legibility, seeing as how you especially arranged the letters for those words close to the main image of light so that they are all visible, rather than letting things overlap (it would be possible to guess the incomplete words).

okay, okay, enough out of me. i'll just get to the +fav. =] you've done quite a great job with this. and please don't mind my nitpicks T3T

I've wanted to see a wall (thought of making it but wasn't really ampt to do so xP) somewhat similar to this, a wall made of that scene where Light holds the Death Note again and all these flashback races through him when hes memories returned. However, this is close enough and I really like it! So + fav!! :D

I really like this wall. the text may seem a bit much but it gives me the feeling of thoughts spilling onto paper. Light has so many rules to abide by and situations that require a bit a brainpower to maneuver through... and I think that this captures that chaotic feeling.

Hmm this will be my first comment in quite a while.

First off, great job. I really like it! You always figure out ways to outdo yourself. Bit of a question, how did you learn to wall like you did? I remember your first walls, and you've progressed A LOT since then. What's your secret, I wonder...

As for the wall itself. Awesome. Personally I would've preferred it with less pictures (particularly the ones on the right side of the wall). They kinda distract from the text, which is wonderfully done otherwise.

I can't wait to see what you're gonna come up with, but I'd really like to see something along the lines of a minimalist design. Maybe just one or two colors, with a couple of lines and the image itself (which is very simple itself)

In any case, keep up the great work

ahh >.< I don't like Death Note :/ Buuut I have to admit that the overall wall looks very stylish and original. I also like how you solve the text design (I wish I were at least 0.0001 % as good in that as you .__. However I think the blood and shirt is too dark together, the character loses it's shape a bit (even though I burst the brightness) it's my small 2 cents but thank you for not making it a Light oriented wall I can enjoy at least :)

quite a deadly sort of notes but i did enjoyed reading them all havent seen the anime yet but will do that in short time soon as for the wallpaper i really like it though its not a colorful one but the combination of three simple colours is quite nicely done and placed in nicely therefore its A+ from me.

I like your use of Kira and Ryuk on his cloths, it is a little hard to see though. I didn't notice it until I seen your comment and adjusted my monitor. Not really a new concept or one that I fancy that much. The text is well quardianted but makes the wall extremely busy. I like how you displayed L but the other character in the strips don't pop as much. Colors complement well together, and match Kira.

This really works because of the focus on not smothering the paper with images, but rather one very iconic (To me at least) image of Light.

The most impressive in this wall isn't the awesome vector or the nice choice of color, but how you used this huge amount of text in such an artistic way. This wallpaper really is a great piece of art and deserves a favorite. Incredible use of plain text on this one ! I personally havent come across typography being used in a way i like it seeing Im the minimalistic kind of person but this ? I think the concept you were trying to get at was okay, but in my opinion the whole wall itself was ruined by the large amount of text you placed on it. Writing down all the rules in a wall sounds awesome, but somehow the presentation on this one is not really that great. It wouldv'e been a little better if you lessened on the text or did some fading techniques with some of them. They really do clutter up the wall and takes the emphasis and attention from the main image. Well that's my two cents.

Crazy Wallpaper ~(@&#95;@)~

PROS Love how Light in the suit and that why I have screen name has light in it, but besides that…. Love the chaos in this Wall. Each sentence is state in the death note series (I believe) and it not in a straight line. It gives the chaos that light is going through in his mind as he is trying to out wit L.
Love the fact that light is cover in this blood aura. #.(n_n) I also enjoy the fact that you have other characters in as wallpaper as well in the crazy text.

CONS The only CON that I have with this is that it will give you a headache when you are trying to read the text on a small screen and as a background for the first time, but that the appeal of it as well. ( T_T)/

Judgment Theme 9.5 out of 10 Overall 10 out of 10

Reasoning The theme is great but letting be a background image with all the different Icons I have makes my head hurt and I can’t really focus on what I’m doing but The fact that it’s Death Note and the chaotic play on lines from the manga, makes up for having a headache. The fact is, its worth having it as a background. Just means I need to let my brain work harder and eat sweets like L!!!

Final Word

Great Wallpaper and I will be telling my friends about this, So they can all have headaches looking at this.

The confusion transmitted by the text leads to insanity, love the contrast of the colours because it makes impact and transmits feelings/emotions, the character image fully adapts to the background and the Blood completes it~

you know, this is the best deathnote paper I have ever seen. actually it may just be one of the best in general. very good quality and really good use of the rules of the deathnote. well balanced and good use of the red, simple and effective, like Schindler's list. love the watermark of ryuk in light's clothing. all the technicalities aside, it's just so visually appealing. amazing.

Brilliant Design, it captures all that death note was about. I love the fact that you used so many words in the design, it adds a resemblance to the note itself, and also lend itself to the idea of all the thoughts that went through Light's head. Great Work.

The vector and the insane splash of words, rules, and pictures is so visual eye catching. I'm certainly using this one as my desktop! I've been a big fan of Death Note, though the add-ons to Light's clothing, showing his Shinigami is really cool. I actually turned up my brightness to check it out. Very cool!

The text here really is what does it for me - the way it accents his body, by being so vertical/horizontal, and I also confess that it reminds me a bit of a newspaper - which of course, given Light's dependence on the media, is entirely appropriate.

Gosh, Anbuu...a fantastic wall. Maybe AP featured? For me, yes. It resembles me a little your Mugen wall, but this one is even better. Btw yes, I see Ryuk on his clothes, how you added it there? (XD) Now this is raw talent here, you are amazing, on top of the incredible job you did on the text and colors red and black looks so classy even more so with white as the background, it's crisp and smooth vectoring job couldn't have been more perfect. It's wonderful A++ and a fav someone should do a feature on this

Black words and red bloodprints are very impressive. Black and red are always good company for death god. White space in the background is really cool and cold.

What I liked most was the bonsai tree in the background. Seeing that everything was done from scratch, you did a great job. Hard to believe you haven't walled for six months. I see Ryuk on his clothes, how you added it there? (XD) I've never seen such an awesome death note wall, it's crisp and smooth vectoring job couldn't have been more perfect.

I absolutely ADORE this wallpaper! The text is very, VERY well done. You've done a wonderful job with the text WITHOUT overdoing it (which for some can be hard to do). I love the b/w and red. It creates a very Death Note-y effect. I'm definitely bookmarking this so that I can use it in the future!

A lil' bit of retro with all that typography, nice. Althou i think that the head at the bottom stands out to much. Maybe if the eye sockets were empty... this way it looks like hes staring at his "khm", you know what XD
