Here's the 1920x1080 version:

|(n_n)| Yeah! I finally made a Kino wall |(n_n)| (I've been wanting too ever sense I watched this anime last year)

I actually started this wallpaper back in November of 2007 and completed my first version of it back then. ^_^; Here's that version if you're interested in seeing it: Back then, I showed it around to some of my family, and while they were complementary, I could tell they weren't so impressed with it... and honestly, I wasn't really happy with it either. Anyway, from there I didn't really have much inspiration as to what to do next, and I had other wallpaper projects I'd become interested in working on. So that's the state it stayed in until the start of March 2008 (aka, last month) when I decided to open up the psd file again and see what I could come up with. Obviously, I went with much warmer colors this time, as well as adding some new layers and things and doing lots refining to it. I got it almost up to what you see now, but let it sit for a while to live with it. I've actually got a lot of projects like that ^_^; just a little ways from done, but not actually done. Thanks go to @cybil for convincing me to finally finish this and post it ^^

As far as the actual content of this, what I was going for? The title I came up with "Beautiful Discord", that mostly sums it up I guess. When looking at the world, it's easy to see a lot of discord and it all seems like a mess, but maybe that's the thing about it all... about life? about us?... maybe we really are all very discordant, all tangled up and not making all together much sense, and maybe that's also the point, you know? For us to figure out how to turn us around into something beautiful all on our own...

This is 100% beautiful, I love Kino, the water color effect is so amazing, and the flower is so wonderful it adds the perfect detail, it's not to flashy yet gives the view the perfect sight, I absolutely love it, it's so bright and vibrant, you did a great job A++ and a fav .(n_n).

This one is better than the first wall (I don't want to seem mean, or anything, just I like it better). The colours are nice like this, the warmness works well with Kino's peaceful pose. The textures and brushes are nicely placed, the composition is really good and the wall looks good as a whole. And I agree with you on the title - it fits the general feeling of the work. Great job!

Definitely a +FAV! You are right, the colors you have picked now are much better than in your previous attempt. Anyways, yes, in the new and improved wall, the warm colors balance very nicely, and nuff' said on my part, I like it a lot.

Wow. This is so amazing!! Your use of textures astound me. I love this so much. At first I thought it was of Ritsuka from Loveless, but obviously not! 9(>_>) But anyhoo, this is a beautiful work of art. I'm so glad that you picked it up again and finished it! If I were your family, I'd totally be raving about it both then and now. :3 Keep up the great work!

hi august! haven't been here in awhile and i wanted to see what new wps you had. i found this one to be my fav. beautiful colors and the textures are very nifty ;) glad to see you've made so many! they're all great but this is the best! (maybe i'll get around to one myself one of these days...)

I think your choices reflect the tone of the show very well. And all of the colors connect. This piece feels like a complete thought; there are no loose ends about it. I like how the light in the top right corner carries into the center of the picture. If the corner hadn't been utilized like that, the flower stem would have alienated it from the rest of the composition.
