Chance Pop Session Angel of Music

Ok, first off...this is only my THIRD vector, and it's my first being submitted as a stand-alone one. ^^;; I wasn't going to at first, but infinity-explorer, my dear, convinced me to! Now onto the nitty-gritty.

This took a long time...it's the only thing that I worked on for the past week! I noticed that there's barely anything for Chance Pop Session, so I wanted to give the category some love. :3 I saw this scan and immediately fell in love! I knew I wanted to do something with it...unfortunately it turned out to be a vector. XD And vectors aren't my thing! But I had to since the scan was so bleh. The outlines went well...I didn't mind that actually; the hardest outlining was her hair and skirt, what with all the curls and folds and whatnot. And then the many layers of shapes and whatnot for the coloring...about 100 shape layers and only 10 normal layers (for the outlines). For the coloring, the hardest part...was the same as outlining...and also her wings! Her wings because I kind of had to make things up as I went along...oh, and her legs. ^^;

Her legs and most of her wings weren't shown in the scan so I just had to make do! Because of that, I'm afraid that Akari has become a paraplegic...an amputee! T__T Please forgive her crappy legs and rough spots here and there. In the scan, you can see she has water in her hands, but I have nothing. I didn't put anything in her hands for a reason! It's for the convenience and creativity of those that want to use this vector. :3 Feel free to think up anything that you want her to hold!

For the fills, I had a fun time using gradients for her dress and hair. I had them plain, solid colors...but then I figured it was too boring. Also, you'll notice that her colors aren't the same as the original scan...that's because I gave her her normal, natural colors as opposed to the "in the moonlit night" colors that were in the scan!

So total time was probably 10+ hours...I didn't keep track, but it was a lot. If you'd like to use this vector, feel free; I'd be honored! Just tell me first! I'd love to see what piece of artwork you'll produce if you do indeed use it. Also, like I say on the vector, credit me if you do. Thankies.
