When I saw this scan, I knew I wanted to do something with it.

The problem was, in order to make the image of Lina functional, I had to draw the missing fingers and finish off the cake. I think I did a pretty good job.

I tried many different things for the background, it seems I'm just no good at making them anymore...I wanted something not too complicated that could look like it was a page used at the beginning of a manga....

I still like it alot, Lina Inverse will forever be my favorite anime/manga gall and this is also to celebrate the revival of the series Slayers that will get a new anime in 2008!!!!

PS: I might make another Slayers wallpaper since so many cool scans were uploaded recently :D

Aww! How cute! It's wonderful to see a Slayers wallpaper again! It's been a while. Thank you for making this adorable Lina wallpaper! .(n_n). She's very cute in this one! Your vector is really good; I love it. And you did amazingly well with completing her finger and the cake! I didn't even notice that they were cut off! The background is fine; you can still make them well. :3 It's a tad too eye-popping for me, but it works well with the image you chose. Nice job!

The background is looking interesting, it looks like some kind of wallpaper in a house. The character looks good, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.

The items on this wallpaper foreground is very nicely done, and makes sense on the 'sweetness' in the wallpaper, the cake is the best in the entire foreground objects becasue it is drawin with lines, the background of the wallpaper looks very nice (the pattern, shape and colours are all very pretty) and the colours compliment the character and the foreground object very nicely too. Best thing in this wallpaper is the character, the extraction job done in this is almost perfect, and the vectoring is pretty perfect as well. The bad points of this wallpaper is as it makes sense that this wallpaper has a lot of sweetness in it's theme, but it can't really express the love in the wallpaper (there just isn't enough love-related items in this wallpaper to have it make sense) also the icons of sweets should also be drawn with line since the cake was in line as well Those are the only things I think you should improve on in this wallpaper, but overall it is a very nice wallpaper Keep it up!

Sweets! \o/ No, I dun wanna admit that the sweets caught my attention >x3 I think you could've made them look more detailed just like the cake in Lina's hand. But apart from that, very nice work! :3

This wallpaper is really nice! I really like how you did the background and the colours you have chosen, it is very colorful. And the vectoring is very good done! You did a great job!
