Yay! Totoro! Great wall, I really like the smudged texture on the vectored characters up front, but I think the background looks like it was all smudged with little vectoring, so in my opinion the background has a bit of a discrepancy (even though it's smudged well). So I think the background could have used a vectored base too, to make it flow together with the characters in my opinion. But anyway, fav from me regardless because I like how the overall wall looks. ^_^

Wow. It's so bright with vibrant colours, brilliant vectoring and great paintwork. I can't say I particularly like Totoro, but this wall is simple gorgeous. The Clouds in particular look extremely good, it makes the whole wallpaper feel surreal and magical. As expected, judging from your previous walls. The only thing I don't particularly like is the grass, because it seems to haev a different style to the rest of the wallpaper. Nevertheless, excellent wallpaper! +fav and *desktoped*

I love Totoro! It's one of my most cherished childhood movies. I believe you did a wonderful job on this! Who cares if it's submitted at 2AM! At least it's turned in for everyone to see (: This part was one of my favorite parts as well, I always wanted to make plants grow by imaginginly pulling them out of the ground, or you know what I mean. TOTORO! <33 The texture on the mountains, plants and clouds are incredible, they match this scene so well. The only thing I find a little out of place is the bit with the soil, it doesn't seem to blend very well on the edges with the plants. I especially love the way you did the clouds, the mixture of colors and texture are simply lovely. ^^ It also looks as if Totoro raised up the moon along with the sprouts too, ne? >w< Always thought his big teethy smile looked funny. The thing that really caught my attention is the sky. Amazing work on the clouds and the hole scenery. I like the fact that the background is a bit blurry cause so the main focus is on Totoro and the girls. Lovely scenery and one of the fav scenes for me from this wonderful movie.

i am late, right? but i haven't been around the past week or so... anyway, your wall is simply adorable. :] the vector-painting is well done and i love the detail --> grass. :O i like the sprouts too. the clouds and hills are kinda too blurry for me though...especially the clouds. mostly because they are very noticeable (unlike the hills, which are a lot darker) and can be compared directly to the in-focus characters. the way in which they are painted is a cute style though, non-realistic, which works quite well here.

I love the style of the wallpaper. It has a reminiscence feel to it. It brings back great memories of my childhood. The brush/smudge effect really does emphasize the beauty of this old but yet one of the greatest animations.

totoro is one of that I most like . it's so cute

The sky and the clouds are gorgeous! I've always loved this particular Totoro image and you've really done fantastic work with it. You've really captured the whimsical feeling of Totoro.^^ The plants in front seem the tiniest bit out of place, but overall, this is wonderful.

WOW. I love your spin on it. I looked at the scan and then I looked at your wallpaper and I love what you did with the clouds and using brushes. It really gives it a painterly feel to the wallpaper rather than a vectored version of the scan.

I like the vibrant colors you used...especially on the grass. I also like how you have some depth of field. For example, the magical stuff is bigger and blurrier in the front and then it's more clear as you look further back. The same with the detailed grass and then having a less detailed background. Very nice use of depth of field.

I think the one thing I would have to say about this is that maybe you should have shadows for them, since the light source is coming from their backs.

I hadn't seen this wallpaper...and it makes me laugh even more since I made a wallpaper that is a parody of Totoro XD

This is really beautiful! I love the swirls in the clouds- they make me think a little bit of ukiyo-e woodblock prints... like Hokusai's work! I like the way the color turned out. I don't think it's necessarily supposed to be a "vibrant" mood in that scene, but it's still exciting. I also love the tutorial you posted; that was nice to see! Definitely a fave. I love Totoro. :D

I love the colors in this wallpaper. I especially love the watercolor effects. It is very subtle but effective in creating a soft look. I love the more abstract look of the clouds and the hills in the background. I think the abstract look of the background makes the distinct characters stand out much more. I think the characters are extremely cute and the small specks of light do not take away for the characters.

It's really a long time for consumption's My Neighbor Totoro It's a picture of lock yetsaenggake

Love the overall effect that the textures add to this scene, however, I can't help but notice the ways in which the clouds become disjointed from the rest of the sky because of the method used. When the image is smaller it looks great, but enlarging it causes you to notice more flaws like the glow of the moon being out of line. That said, the texture on Totoro's body was a very pleasant surprise!

nice wallpaper! you used a nice and happy scan, and did a great job in vectoring. i like your background choice of having a huge moon, because it really brightens up the original scan that was darker and slightly dull. the swirly clouds also add on to the fun element of the wallpaper. i especially like what you did at the grass area, with the firefly-like effects really lighting up the whole wallpaper, and the stars in the sky match those on the ground well. i like this twinkly effect very much. good job! :)
