Here we go again. And this time it's nothing less than from my favorite anime. In this case I happened to be working on a vector at the same time as I thought of the setting, and it wasn't any character - I had to do something extraordinary.
This is probably the first wallpaper in a very very long time where I worked diligently towards a distinctive feel. I usually just 'go with the flow' and *poof* something cool comes up after a while. But this... was different. I worked really hard on many designs and backgrounds for this but... in the end I settled for what have come to be my forte - simplicity. I didn't add any extra shading or light effects to Kawasumi-san cuz A) I didn't really see a need for it and B) Extensive or realistic lightning and shading is not what I do. I made this wallpaper to what it is because I wanted it to be this way~
Vectored from a scene in the animation. And although there's nothing I know of that's cuter than Mai in that scene I made a few decisive modifications to fit her into the scenario. Brushes and fonts from brusheezy.com and 1001freefonts.com as always.
And since this is a dream I can have both sakura petals, snowflakes AND my favorite anime heroine all at the same time, in a beautiful frozen illusional dreamscape. I tend to get these moments when I just crave and reach out for anything that's blue or pink to re-decorate my desktop with. Something that makes you feel like you're staring into a dream, a never-ending landscape with elusive pastel colors and void of hard objects.

It's always nice to see clean, usable wallpapers. Good job with that. I like the atmosphere you where going for. It's hard to describe but the calm looking through memories past (or at least how I see it) worded out very well. Some might complain about the plain background but I think that the simpleness of it adds to the effect. The flowing flower petals top the look off. Good work and keep it up ^_^.

It's very soft and pretty I love the colors and the little patterns on her hair and in the background the sky is just lovely, and everything is smooth and flowing like the wind through her beautiful hair. nice job A-

*Bonus points for making a Mai wallie >3* I can always a appreciate a perfectly done vector. *o* I love how everything appears so soft~ You really captured the "dream" appearence.
Personally, I think the snow flakes would have been better off as... puffs? o-O But that woulda taken away from the pretty petals... xO ANYWAYS, I love how you made them fall and gather on her head like that. :D

Hmm! I like the simplicity of this wallpaper, and I do agree that Mai Kawasumi didn't need all those extra effects. Very nice vectoring job done on her as well, and the exctraction is as good as it always had been (~_~) I also must say I love the idea of snow and sakura petals at the same time because of the calm atmosphere it gives to the wallpaper, and sakura always makes a character look more beautiful. (I reckon) The text is a bit hard to see so I think it would be better if you put it in a more distinctive colour then the background Keep up the good work

The Background is awesome,the sky looks very crystal clear,with the sparkling effects,and mix colours of the clouds designs are simply the best the petals are very nice.its effects adds a great display to the scenery.
The girl is so cute,she is definitely Sweet wonderful and very cutelooking,her unhappy expression/emotion makes her look cuter than ever,her hair is light blue long and its wonderfull,plus her blue ribbon is lovely too,her clothing is nice,she is definitely lovely|(VcV)|
