I'm no stranger to a good wall and I have to say this one is simply stunning, beautiful textures light rain meeting the warm glow of the sun, her beautiful face lost in the distance, clouds representing her sadness, the over all composition is impressive and is worth an A+ in my book AND a fav great job. |(C_C)|

So beautiful... it truley seems to represent how Matsuri felt at the end of the series. The use of textures and scenery is stunning, and it has such a magical feel.

Wow, the lighting! The colors, the drama! You've done a very good job indeed on this wall. Your attention to detail is evident in this wall; the shadows all fall in the right places, all of the shapes match and balance, and every color is in perfect harmony with the next. Small touches like the birds flying off into the sunset and the (I assume) fireflies around Matsuri add further refinement to this excellent piece.

As well, while the background literally burst with expression and detail, you have toned down the colors enough so what we really focus on is the simple beauty of Saturi's expression in the foreground, as she gazes off at some unknown visage into the distance.

Definitely a favorite and a download!

well looking at your description, i think you have a fairly good and solid concept. :D but that could have translated in a far stronger wall than what you have right now. :x forgive me but i feel a little disappointed with it because some of the potential is as yet unexplored. before you throw large/heavy/sharp/explosive/otherwise dangerous objects at me though, i'll attempt to explain. ^^;

i love clouds but what you have here appears to be a blend of stock photos that has undergone minimal treatment. this kind of photorealism in an anime wallpaper isn't quite suitable. but the greater issue is the lighting. most of your clouds do not match up with the sun. >__< careful and logical lighting is one of those higher-level things that really show off the skills of a waller (but by no means am i implying anything about your skills, which are definitely good enough to impress quite a bunch of users xD;). taking into consideration the location of the sun and the directions in which its rays would travel, you could have created an equally dramatic and stormy sky, but with lighting that makes sense. and in reality, the sun breaking through the clouds of a dying storm would not look quite like this... but never mind that. unlike with lighting and perspective and maybe some other stuff, being so true to nature in this aspect isn't always necessary, i suppose. oh, and i know you deliberately limited the golden tones to the center of the wall, but it would have been nice to give the other clouds highlights that reflect the color of the light source. ;P

some things about the rain: the droplets are too dense to be rain letting up and their uniform size is also not very visually effective. it would have been prettier if there had been size and focus variation to give the illusion of depth.

the lighting on the girl is also puzzling. had the sun and the girl been in the same plane, specifically, one that is perpendicular to the viewer's forward line of size, then what you have right now would make sense. however, the sun is actually located in the sky behind her. if the sun were to light her from there, she'd be much more of a silhouette (as in thinner fringe of brightly lit area). if she were to be lit as she is, the sun would not be within the visible area of the wallpaper.

just some thoughts about lighting and stuff that might help improve your work in the future. i hope i'm not offending you because i don't mean to. D: i take the time to write a lot when i think the person has the ability to go that extra distance (and deal calmly and maturely with my ramblings) :'D take that next step! now, if you still want to throw anything at me, please have the mercy to wait till i have some shelter. x]

This is such a beautiful wall! I absolutely adore the background! The moon is beautiful and I love how the moonlight glows on everything and gives them a magical touch. It creates a scenic horizon that has depth and carries a journey just by following her. She is very beautiful, I really like the central focus on her giving it a portrait look and feel. Beautiful!What I love about this wall is her expression,she seems dazzled or better said fascinated by what she sees and who wouldn't be with such a superb background,I mean her expression perfectly matches with the beauty of the background!The clouds look fabulous and the sun in the middle of them looks more powerful somehow,well I love the yellow in this wallpaper,it's powerful but it doesn't bother at all because of the other colours too we could say but it simply is a beautiful nuance of yellow too!I am not usually the biggest fan of many effects but this one doesn't seem crowded with too much and everything is well chosen and in the right place if you ask me.Beautiful work!

simple an nice, exactly how i like it. i approve of this wallpaper. couldve been made with around 10 layers instead of 52 though, if u use stock instead of making clouds, which those dont look anything less than stock to me. so a lighting layer, Clouds layer, Birds Layer, Charcater Overlay, Lensflare with sun merged"sunshine layer", sparkles "below her" layer, Grass An mountain layer, so around 8 or so if ud done it the easy way :P, around hour of work id say, try stock next time its alot easier than making effects.

nice wallpaper, the colour of the clouds and the setting sun background bring out the feeling of Matsuri leaving, feel bit sad.
