Nice concept in this one. I like the movie poster environment here even though the resolutions quite troublesome in some sort of way. Over all, it's a good wallpaper.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I'm from Baka-Tsuki so I'm with you on the tough wait for season 2. I wonder how many of the novels they'll include in this one. Hope they get quite a bit of the time travel scenarios in. Mikuru never got much development in the first season. Again, amazing job.

i must congratulate you for the creation of a very very well-made and designed wall. yes... great use of cinematic techniques (i.e. fonts, text position, font size and colour). i've always been a big cinema/movie fan and this wall definitely fits into that category. excellent vectoring... everything looks clear and clean... the magenta/sepia look combined with the ripply effect of the scenic bg gives a mysterious feeling to the wall (as stated in an above comment). only fault i feel is that the two top corners are too empty. i mean, i probably would strongly disagree putting anything there or extending the bg, but it still looks...odd? perhaps the characters could have been stretched out a little further to take up a bit more space... and, also, despite a very well made wall...it isnt exactly original...BUT still original in the sense of an anime/manga.

I've read this particular novel, absolutely loved it and love the wallpaper! In this novel Kyon is meant to make a decision near the end, and I am surprised at how quickly he actually makes it.

I personally would have struggled, one has the awesome data entity interface that is Yuki, and the other is an adorable, frequently blushing and smiling Yuki. Tough choice I say.

Omg, this makes me so excited for the new season. I like this wall-- the Hollywood-style poster, floating heads and everything, gets me even more excited for the next season :D The only problem I have is with the first o in Shohitsu, which... yeah, is supposed to have the line above it, but the fact that it's in a different font as opposed to the rest of the title, and it looks a little off.

This looks amazing! It really does give out the "movie poster" feel, which I like. This wallpaper's quality gives justice to the awesomeness that is The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya novel (my favorite of the novels, by the way). And thank you for using "Vanishment" instead of "Disappearance"; many people use the fan-translation's "Disappearance" instead of the official translation's "Vanishment" (which irks me, as it's like a pet peeve that I have). One more thing: although it's something minor, you seemed to forgot that Nagato, once again, has her glasses in this story (you have her without her glasses in the wallpaper).

PS: Still no news of a second anime season. :( Here's hoping it'll debut December 18 this year (read the fourth novel if you want to know why I'm guessing that date).
