A Slayers wallpaper featuring the main character: Lina Inverse. When I saw this manga scan (thanks to genestar for it) I just thought :"what a funny face! Perfect for a vector work!"; so here it is :D This time the colouring method is different, I used smudge shadows/lights instead of usual sharpe shadows/lights. I weighed up various background concepts, as a forest or a manor-house inside room, both ideas very "Slayers series related" but too complex for carry out them, so I chose a simple kitchen with steaming pots ^^ Glancing through a recipe-book I found the suitable image which inspired me this sketch. Comments-critiques-favourites are welcome :)

A very cool vector is yours. No complains about the quality, you are really a talented vector artist. On overall the wall is cute and funny with easygoing light colors. Cool. It should deserve my favorite.

Slayers! It's rare to find new Slayers wallpapers these days, so this was a pleasant surprise. Lina looks adorable, great vector work. I like the light, glowy colors.

Shoot.. I wanted to use this image for a wallpaper, but I guess you beat me to it. :P I love how soft you made the image look by using colors for the outlines and how you did the lighting effects in her hair, and the background you designed for it is a lot of fun, great work :D

Anywho I just wanted to say that I love how you very often wall anime that I like. :D I love the way you coloured this wall so that it is so soft and shiny-looking. XD Lina looks really cute too and I love the kitchen background. (especially the smoke swirls! Very nice! :) Great Job!

The background is looking interesting, it looks like some kind of wallpaper in a house. The character looks good, she fits to the background well. Nice wallpaper.^^

So cute! The background is just darling. The color scheme not only goes very well with her haircolor, but supposedly oranges and browns stimulate the appetite (lol), so it's doubly perfect!
