(n_n)/ here's another wallpaper I've had in the works, let sit for far too long, and finally decided to finish ^_^; This one's from a little known anime called Galaxy Fraulein Yuna. The anime is very cheerful and funny yet also kind of poignant and angsty in some places. The scan I used is pretty much a collage from the first story, which was titled "Sorrowful Selene" (Selene is the one with the dark purple hair btw). The story for that was basically that Yuna & her sidekick Yuri (the one with red hair) are lured away saving a little puppy named Taro-chan (seen in the front) while someone imitates her and destroys the city, then Serene is assigned to arrest her, but it turns out no one in the city actually died because they were all out helping Yuna save Taro-chan at the time ^_^; (so of course, Yuna is exonerated of all charges in the end ^^). It was really fun to watch, and did a good job of cheering me up and making me laugh at the time. The second story arch's more serious though, the ending is really kinda sad and tragic, but still very much worth watching.
Anyway, for making the wallpaper, I used 7 stock photos, 1 scan, lots of blending work, and a bunch of brushing and touch-up work at the end. I was going for a kind of high energy vibe with the color scheme, to match the mood of the scan I used. The map and sort of quazi-techno elements were mostly used to show an element of adventure and activity. Hope you end up liking the result, please feel free to tell me what you think :)

Wow!!! Been a while since I seen a wallpaper from you. At least since the last one. This one is just as good as the others!! I can totally feel the energy vibe you were going for. This is just great!!! Now, I'll have to check out the series because of this wallpaper and your discription!!

So so! I don't like this wallpaper, but I think it's just little all right on the colour of the paper, so hope the author to improve it better!

Wow, I never see Yuna walls; let alone people who have actually seen this anime. Too bad the image quality isn't so good and the textures are a bit much.

Yeah, wow, what a rare series indeed! I haven't seen Yuna in years. It's nice to see a wallpaper for it! I do think that some things could be improved, however. The scan appears too sharp...too much contrast in some areas. It might be from the textures. So I think that if you lightened up the texture, and maybe did something else with the scan [was it originally poor quality maybe?], then it'd be a lot better. I do like the colors and arrangement of it though, and most definitely the uniqueness. :3 Good job!

Nice wallpaper, August. ^^ It's unique and obviously, you put a lot of effort on it. The background shows it all. Well, for the scan... uhmmm... there are some "not so good" parts. First, some characters are quite bright and some are too dark. Err... maybe, its really the scan's fault. ^_^ So don't mind that too much. Lastly, some textures overlap the faces of some characters which, makes them kinda odd in some way.But! I give you two thumbs up for the background. ^^ I saw london there. haha. Oh well, this is quite too long, and it's kinda weird for me. ^^ Overall, good job!
