It's only Monday and I'm already done with another wall. This time it's one of those things I put a little extra effort in creating, even though it's prolly not what I hoped it would be; neither the best work I've ever done. But who cares?!

Enter the Sonozaki. I just couldn't chose which one to pick, so I grabbed most of them! Assembled from various screenshots, scans and whatanot I managed to make a very (at first) interesting vector, but I was just about done when I realized it'd be hell to implement it as a wallpaper of any kind. It took me weeks to modify, think, re-modify, re-color, re-work and re-think everything once more until I settled for this version. The scenery and starlit sky with it's little shiny (my first time doing one that doesn't look like a tennis ball by the way) moon is prolly the part I love the most, even though it took 1/10th of the time doing compared to the vector and the rest.

Oh and yes, I was doing a wallpaper with Rena-chan which I've more or less abandoned, at least for now. To make up for it I'll let her stand on the field in the background in this wall instead. So well now this project has everything you could possibly ask - even your favorite little moonlit cleaver-swinging killer-loli. Rena-chan says "Enjoy~"

This is sharp, it's crisp and it's clean. I like the use of the characters and the black background. The moon and the water that are in the background add a nice touch and lastly that line at the bottom may be subtle but it's a nice indicator as to disconnect the bottom from the main attraction. Lastly those eyes on the far right are lovely, and the expressions are good for the feel of the wall.

The background could be interesting, but a small night scenery with the moon, and darkness with it doesn't fit in. The characters look interesting too, the pistol in Shion's hand looks a gun only in shape, the boss doesn't fit with the other three, the guy with the shotgun seems out of place a bit, and Shion's face on the right makes him and the others look off in size too. Seeing the Sonozaki in arms would've been very nice, though the background and the characters can't match the conception as they are. It could've been a really nice wallpaper.

Oooooooh, this totally rocks. Mion is my favorite character of Higurashi and Shion's arc is my favorite part, so I totally adore the Sonozakis and any time they are on screen, I get very happy, so thank you very much! Absolutely favoritizing this, beautiful work.
