Alichino An Invitation

Well i like the wallpaper. Especially the way you treated it. It is good that you didnt separate the foreground from the background, since they really do fit to each other. However: overall the wallpaper appears to be a little blurry, so that it is not really (in my opinion) good for only looking at it. But it is good enough to be a desktop background, since I don't have the problem of laying some icons over good images and wallpapers. The only thing that disturbs me a little is the small resolution the wallpaper has. I'd really like this wallpaper in 1280 or above, since my desktop is around 1280x1024. Anyway: other than that it sure is a nice wallpaper ^^

The picture is very beautiful and picturesque. It feels like a capture still scene from a movie. The image has a strong feel to it and the colors make it even more attractive. Yeah I would have to agree that separating the images from the picture would have lessen the over all appeal. It would have taken forever as well. Bottom line this wall is excellent.

It seems to be a little blurry but that could be the style you were going for. It looks good.

Well LuciferWolf, you've got so many praises that I hardly know what I could possibly add. ^_^ Anyway, I'll state my opinion: Your wallpaper leaves a deep feel because it has indeed a very artistical composure. It's very beautiful as it is, but if I am allowed to make a color suggestion: in order to feel somehow more balanced (because the visual impact through colors it is important) I would have loved that backgound arcade to have a cold color instead of yet another warm color; for instance dark blue. I don't know why I feel a bit disturbed maybe by the only-warm-tone-colors used in the wallpaper, meaning only shades of red and yellow. Other than this little (quite subjective) suggestion, your wallpaper is very impressive and I like it very much. ^_^

The theme you picked for this - invitation - gives the picture an extra creepiness to it, I know I wouldn't go there if invited. ^^; Wonderful paper.

Alichino is a great, great series. If I'm not mistaken, the mangaka was the same as the one who created Petshop of Horrors, and Alichino is a brilliant addition to her lineup.

The color emits this vibe. I can't describe it, but it's b-yoo-tiful. I'm just glad I don't use icons so it doesn't block the image. Definately going to be on my desktop for a long time.

I can understand the issue of trying to adapt a scan for a wallpaper only to find that to do so would destroy the charm of the original.

I think, however, that this wallpaper itself can be further developed. The character design is so fantastic in this series, the background and all the lettering could be removed, isolate the figures on the left an right, and fade the everything else to black with a sort of sketchy halo around the left and right figures. I think that could work actually. The gothic charm would not be lost.

Really, Alichino has the one of the best picture in the whole manga... In my opinion. I liked those scans so much that I actually collect them... in a folder of mine. Hahha. Anyways, great job on using the scans to its full extend, and also, in blending of the background. Red does matches with all of them there. There's nothing more that I can add, just that I will be looking forward to your next wallpaper. Keep it up!

there's something to the wallpaper that attracts me. this is not the kind that i'll like.. but i don't know what is it about it that makes me feel very much attracted to it... the colors are very well coordinated too.. overall is a very attractive wallpaper!

This is so... PRETTY !!! Kami each character's detail is perfect. It's very clear by every detail of this picture that you put a lot of work into it.

I believe that I love the expressions on their faces the most. I believe that you can tell a whole story just by the look in their eyes or the expression that the face holds.

I must admit I love the art style for this series, this is the best Alchino wallpaper I have layed eyes on. Red is the dominant color here, assuming that the image is only touched up to give it the glow touch--hard to tell how much effort was actually put into the wallpaper, aside from the text and the glow.

This is really a beautiful wallpaper. Shurei's art is so stylistic that is tough to seperate the foreground and background, so even though some may think that was lazy of you, I don't really think so, because they fit and the final product really is gorgeous and makes for a nice wallpaper. It doesn't look too busy. It's balanced.

This may be a bit OT, but Alichino's one of my favorite manga!

I've seen this before, and it is one of my favorite wallpapers of anything, ever. I think partially, it is due to the fantastic artwork in Alichino, but the way you drew out the color and "tweaked" it made it perfect.

That's a very good wallpaper you made here. The concept is interesting, the background is very well done, and the characters fits well in it. The overall atmosphere of the wall is good. ...my images are usually extracted from their original settings and put onto a different one. But I could not bare to seperate them. And the bg was just so beautifull drawn.

There are times when you just simply do not mess with a good thing. If it isnt broke, dont try fixing it. To your credit you didnt try to fix it as much as make a new thought or to keep an existing feeling alive. this artist is incredible and always has been. I try not to mess with Alichino art simply because I dont think I have the talent to take something so beautiful and to make something almost as nice...

This is just so great ! I particularly love the main girl . She's so really mysterious and evil and has some "blood smell" inside that look . And the red color filled all over the background and also the gorgeous type ^^ Well , it looks like there's nothing for me to say anymore except " Do some more ! " :)

This wallpaper is 'drawing me in' o_o I really like the soft texture, and the text fits the wallpaper. Alichino has really pretty art, and you made a great wallpaper out of it :) I like the red colours as well - they give an ominous feeling. The whole wallpaper feels like a painting.

'To be honest I wouldn't use this for a wallpaper myself' - I have to agree. For one thing, I can't really see where the icons would go. The image itself isn't really suitable for a wallpaper, I think. It's too centered.
