A Wolf´s Tale - Okami -

Yesterday I was thinking of making a wall that features a puppet show as a theme, and for that, the usage of threads was a necessity to emphasize the idea. So, seeing your wall was a pleasant surprise, heh.

Good looking wall. I like the background, clouds, sun, and text (regardless of what it says >_>). Amaterasu's vector is well done, as well. But I think it would have been better if you played around with her colors to make her blend a bit better with the background (seems a bit livelier to me compared to the calmer BG).

Very awesome. I havent played the new version of this for the Wii yet but this definatly reminded me that i need to go pick it up X_X. I think that this is a great interpretation of how the game looks and i love the sun and the clouds.

This is -so- cool. The paper cut-out look is fantastic. It's really fitting, although I wouldn't have thought of it myself! A lot of Okami walls look similar, but this one stands out because of the unique approach. Great work!

Amazing!! I LOVE the 2D effect you gave the clouds; it's so simple, yet so original. Moreover, they just look fantastic! The idea of the rising sun is great, and I really believe that it truly adds a Japanese touch to the wallpaper. The text also is pretty, the way it is aligned to the sun is beautiful, neat and flawless. Congratulations on such a nice piece of work!

From what i hear and seen the video game that this character belongs in is one that will probably for a long time be considered a great game, and i think this wall paper its bad either.

Okami's 2D style is really something beautiful, and you made a even better wallpaper from it. The strings there are the most cool part of the wall. Love it. +Fav

i like, i like. i really like how it looks like a puppet theatre performed using paper cutouts. i kind of wonder what it would look like if the text was only on the one sunbeam and not three. but i think it was a great idea to put text on the beam because it really highlights the idea of the sunbeam coming towards the viewer. look forward to more!

I think the wolf is the dog 'Tengu' Tengu is the dog of myth in japan. Pose and face is still but they are filled with activity and confidence.

this is one of the best and one of the most beautiful wallpaper I've seen I like the design .... to say that I like most everything XD ... to see first vector of this spectacular wolf, the brushes you used or what they are doing to the bottom with these strips of orange and yellow are simply very good and I see they added some of them letters about Chinese, Japanese or KOREAN what is XD, and the starting point of the slots I see him putting a very nice detail, but I like the clouds on which the wolf is at rest are simply wonderful and I see they have a contouring and yet very elegant cool, more congratulations this is an excellent wallpaper greetings ... The cutout theme was a great idea for an Okami wallpaper, It reminds me of the little paper puppet shows we did back in Pre-School. Ahhhhh, sweet memories....

Yeah, the japanese art style was always one thing the game stressed to the viewers. I'm happy to note that the particular feeling is expressed in this wallpaper as well.

I love the concept behind this paper! The puppet idea was brilliant and I love the colors you used... they're so vivid and it works along so nicely with the style of the game!

Okami was an amazing game, and there's only so many pretty colors you can add before it doesn't matter. But wow! That hanging effect is a cool idea!

I like the semi-mobile look of it. Definitely creative.

Pop-out in a wall!

Very good concept, great choice of using Japanese sun rays, the clouds are well-placed, the string-effect is good, you're quite a story-teller artist in your own right.

This is really fun- I love the pop-out style with nice clean lines and good shadows. Always refreshing to have a wall that really pops! Vector videogame art at its finest.

This may sound like odd praise, but I love the way you have the lines placed - it's almost as if you're looking at a scene from an old movie! You kept the colors nice and bright, and that is a lovely pose of Ami. Good job =)

Wow. Such a great idea, and you carried it out perfectly! There's honestly nothing I can complain about. I plan on using this wallpaper as my desktop next time.

I think the shadows are really good! But then again, I'm not good at shadows myself, hehe... Really, you gave thought about where the shadows of the different strings should be (however, you shloud have moved the shadows of the strings that are casted on Ameratsu a bit, since she is closer to the strings than the 'wall'. The clouds are good too! For a moment I thought I had seen this clouds somewhere in the game, then I remembered that there are none in the gameworld itself (the sky is always clear there).

Wow there's a game for this? Well...now I know... This'll probably make me try out the game now! Plus I always did have a thing for canines! Nice pop-up feature, it gives a more traditional Japanese feeling (of Jap. mythology). Definitely my desktop now!

I really like this wallpaper. Amaterasu looks really cool as usual, but my favorite part is the sun. I think you did a great job capturing how the sun looks like in the game. The clouds are kind of neat too. It looks like he's flying on one like Goku lol. I wish I knew what the writing says because it looks really awesome too. Definitely one of my favorites. Great job.
