You made a awesome work for first time. Your skills using the CS2 program are just great. I could imagine how difficult was to balance the brightness and contrast with the right colours. Also, smooth lines are just a hard work, and you made it greatly.

About the background, it's unique. Such a great idea of yours, and those textures are quite impressive. Yes, a simple work you said, but a simple masterpiece I say.

I'm into wallpapers like this lovely one here. I like the grungy effect you added atop of the whole thing. Lighting effects, the paper texture, and the simple text made this whole piece more stylized. My only complaint is that when we take a closer look at C.C., it's kind of clear that it's scan (cuz of the colored,pixelated dots on her). All in all, this is a beautiful piece. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise xP.

I like the realistic look but.. the fact that the lass is drawn in paper... makes me wonder why the blue marks on the paper are still present after coloring... (o_o) or maybe you just want it that way..

I like how it looks like C.C. is on the paper. But why is the text behind her? I think it would have made more sense if it was in front of her.

A interresting design with the torned-out paper. As was suggested I would give the text rather before her and there is a part by her legs which wasn't torned.... Also signatures should be in the downer parts.

..nice wall...for ur first wall...but i think u must remove that blue line on C.C....and the paper on left side area get hole there right but why on down left side the leg was on that hole...however....this wall so creative....(x_x)

Very nice wallpaper, simple yet great looking.

The only things I would correct if I were you would be:

• Cut a few parts on her legs more smoothly. • Erase the small part of the leg which is out of the "paper background". • Erase the scratches texture from the left non-paper part. • Blend the text, and try another font. Although Arial might be the best option. Whatever.

I'd be pleased if you did a revision of it using some of my tips. >:3

Amazing Work. The paper is very realistic and the texture really works well here. The fine touches of the colors and the background are too good. Hmm... It would be better if C.C. was like in a sketchy type of drawing rather than a colored one, but this one works well for me. This wallpaper is good.

Well, I just happened to start watching Code Geass also, to see what all the hype was about, and I love it. This wall is very well done, C.C. is one of those characters that reminds me of the things that I loved about other characters on every anime I've watched, as it seems with everyone else, since there are so many walls of her now. Yet, this is probably the best wall I've seen of her so far, I especially like the notebook paper effect (I can't figure out how you made it look like that, that's too cool). Good job, I hope you do more like this. +Fav!!

I've wanted to comment this wall for a little while now since I first caught sight of it, but I haven't really gotten a chance to until now. Even now, I'm somewhat forcing myself down and commenting everything that I wanted x );;

Ah ~~~ well, to start, I've never seen Code Geass, but I like the scan you chose, which is saying quite a bit since it's hard for me to really ever appreciate female characters in that style of anime. You extracted the scan well and managed to make the style of the entire wall.. one. A lot of artists seem to have difficulty with that when they create a wallpaper, especially one that incorporates a more conceptual theme like yours: the scan tends to stick out and the background either looks more drawn or more real or photograph-like than the character, and it looks awkward; but I don't get that sense of strangeness from your piece, which I think is commendable.

I like the effect of having the scan and lettering on a page of loose-leaf paper. Even though the wall is rather simple, I think you executed it very well. The lighting looks good - with accented highlights on certain parts of the paper/scan. The colours are nice, too; the scan blends into the paper, and you did a good job allowing the character be the main focus of the wall but, at the same time, not letting the scan jump out awkwardly out of the piece. The grunge is a nice touch and not excessive, so that's good, and overall, the piece is unique and different from most pieces I've seen.

The only thing I would have to point out would be the purpose of the "paper" theme. Usually for walls like these, there's an idea that the artist is trying to convey that is related to the series somehow. Like I said, I've never seen Code Geass, so I couldn't be able to tell if there were some "hidden meaning". I'm just being a pest and pointing it out ^^;; my apologies ~

I love the paper texture and the way you colored the scan, but I'm not so sure about the placement of the light texture. It looks a little odd so close to her face, so maybe moving it to the other side would've looked better? Other than that, it's beautiful. You really do have selective coloring down pat, and the paper texture was an excellent choice.

This is an awesome wallpaper. The only thin I personally would change is the bright spot right near the right side of her face, as her face is somewhat a focal point, it bothers the eyes.

But the whole design is really beautiful, I really love it.
