Lily Hoshino: Thank you for smoking

Whee...having the smoke curls become floral shapes is really creative < 3 I especially like the gradient used on the floral design behind the guy...it's effective and aesthetic at the same time. And yes, it's not fair that only the guys would have all the skimpily clad eye-candy xDD The vector looks great too, and although I'm not a fan of pinkish colors, I must say that I love the color scheme in this wallpaper ^.^ The text looks awesome too~

I regret that I know nothing about this title o_O Still, such a great piece of work deserves a fave! Love it!

I totally agree with you =D If the guys can get those skimpily-clad stuff, then the gals should be allowed to drool over the bishies < 333 +fav I like how the floral shapes seem to look like smokes coming out from his mouth, but there's too much pink IMO >_< For some reason, I don't think it fits with the classic old world you mentioned.

Wow what a sexy bishie, and who said guys can't look good in pink he looks amazing and oh so cool, the smoke is so elegant what smooth and clean flowers they look flowing and perfect, and the title is so fitting of his character calm cool and chill. I'm not a very big fan of pink ~ but I like this wall quite a bit in spite of the colour theme, and I feel you really made it work for this piece.

The character is awesome, and I agree - very sexy x ) even though the smoking doesn't appeal to me very much : x but smoking flowers ~ aha! Now, that's a different story... ; ) Speaking of which, I like the concept, and the flora is quite catching to the eye - not too trendwhory at all, in my opinion ~

The smooth contours and outlines of the colours are amazing and quite crisp ~ which has always been something that I've loved about these kind of style walls - plus the simple yet effective use of highlights and shadows on skin, hair, and clothes : )

Back to the flowers - I like the different patterns you decided to use and that you chose to use the lightest tint of pink for the "smoke" while accenting the background with large flowers with little colour contrast - but enough contrast to where it softens the eye and eliminates the effect of awkward, large, pink negative space. I have to say that you made the gradient colour work very well for the background flowers sprouting out from beneath the character. The contrast is aesthetically pleasing yet not distracting ~

The text is amazing - as always in all of your walls. and overall, I have next to no personal opinions of criticism ~

I actually started watching Mushishi because of you and Candy-chan >.>;; but I digress] ~ : x) It's refreshing to see a unique idea that's been worked with and molded into a good wall in the midst of pages and pages of wallpapers that are basically just cut and pasted scans onto backgrounds - and don't get me wrong, many artists make it work very well - but it's just something that has always made me a fan of your work, Tama-chan ~ Hope to see you around : )

Wow, I meant to comment an hour or more ago, but I saw your site and lost all track of time... You have some awesome works, and this is no different. (What am I saying, some?!? All of them are great!) I may be a guy, but that doesn't stop me from liking this wall. And ya know what? I think the pink looks good on it. The color fits the smoke in an interesting way. +Fav for this _and _ anything else that you make. I'm looking forward to the rest of your creations!.... but not so much to my computer telling me that I've used up all available storage on my hard drive. Keep up the wonderful work!

Changing the smoke to flowers is quite creative! It makes smoking look so wonderful though, lol. But yeah, why do people with cigarettes look cool?!

I think the flowers clash interestingly with his sporty jacket. Hoshino Lily's guys (especially the ukes lol) aren't really bishounen to me, which is a shame! I would prefer that there be more colors, but since that's not your idea, it doesn't matter! It's a nice and clean wallpaper!

I totally agree, we definitely need more pretty boys wallpaper (especially the non-suggestive ones XD;). I love everything about it, but I have to say that I really dig how you used pink without making it too girly. Great job.
