Air Gear Fly of Simca

That is awesome. Brilliant vectoring...especially from a toy, and the perspective is perfect! Maybe self-made clouds and moon would've suited better than brushes but nice vectoring nonetheless.

Air Gear is luv. Firstly, her name is not Silka. It's Simca/Shimuka. Secondly, the buildings are okay but could have been a lot better with more details and their perspective is surely weird. Thirdly, I would like to see all these elements a little more blended together, because right now there is a detailed sky and 2 detailed trees, some real simple buildings and a semi detailed Simca. Anyway, I have to give you huge props for vectoring this from a doll and making it look so awesome. Anna/Fire

I really admire your drawing+coloring Simca. You've captured her pose and body structure well, since it's often the case that sketching from real life objects proves difficult. I'm usually touchy about the face; you've done pretty well, except, the right eye's a lil too big.

As for the wallpaper itself, one can be impressed by the separate features but not so much by its holistic quality. The images somehow don't blend well. Also, I dont know if it's just me or what but I find the size/shape of the moon out of place - resize it and blame the brush I guess XD ?

While I have to say the wall as a whole doesn't blend as well as it should I have to say that I'm very impressed with all the extra work you did getting the wall up to this level. Simca may never have been more sexy with that added shine you gave her. Very hardcore.

I think that is really awesome made, and just by looking at the toy screenshot im amazed that you managed to do it that well. And I love the little detail, with the plane in the sky. Thank you for your hard work, and I think it paid off.

Srry for not commenting earlier.You have done a great work with the scan.Vectoring from a real toy isnt some easy work and also using a screen-cap face to make the doll face look similiar!.So thats a great job.I love the sparks the smoke.As storm-and-fire said the perspective isnt correct.I also agree with her.The clouds are great.The plane doesnt look good.It looks a bit jagged.Might wanna make it smooth?.And the last thing would be the moon.Even though it looks great the size really makes it look bad.The moon looks a bit too big.But that doesnt make the wallpaper bad or anything.Its a great wallpaper and for your hard-work u get my fave!.Keep up ur good work Hoping to see more from you

The vector came out great on this one. I do have a complaint though. And I guess it's a fairly large complaint considering the wall. Your perspective is off. It seems you have the right idea, but it's off. 3 point perspective can be a bitch. It's mainly the building to the far left. Also, because of that, it makes it hard to decipher the foreground. Are we looking up at her? for a 3-point perspective background, we should be. But from the looks of the fence and her angle, it seems like it's head on. I also wish the moon wasn't a real moon since the rest of the background is hand made. The vector came out great though, and I love the idea.

Really nice job with the vector; that takes some skill and hard work indeed. However, I don't really like the background. The buildings look flat and then the sky looks realistic; it just kindof clashes for me. However the composition and colours in the wall are nice, the detail just loses it for me. I feel like the background isn't quite finished.

Wow. I'm dead impressed by the vector of Simca, since it's modeled off a mere toy. It looks pretty realistic although I feel her face is a wee bit too..round at the cheeks. Anyway, good job with the vector and shadows. I actually like the buildings, tree and composition of the total wall as well. My only complain is that the stars, moon and clouds could use more blending. Now they all look kinda strangely cut off in the sky. Anywho, really good effort so keep it up! =]

Your vector is great, but the perspective of your fence compared to the angle of your buildings is just so off it's hard to comprehend the scene.

I think your moon is way too big, and the sky looks funny the way it is with the clouds going around in that circle sort of way with the stars, it just doesn't look right to me that there's clouds and stars all around there and none in that big empty space near the moon.

Actually, I think it would look better without any stars, honestly, because realistically you can't see ANY stars when it's cloudy out like that.

I like this wallpaper but as it is said above me, the perspective of the fence and the buildings is off.

But to be honest, there was something that was the decisive factor to become a 'I like it' instead of a 'hmm, nice one' wallpaper. At first I couldn't figure out what it was, but then I read the comment of the perspective being off and guess what, that was the decisive factor.

The vector is amazing, extremely good considering tis from a polyvinylchloride figure. The background could be integrated better though - the moon for example is too realistic, and the other elements could be blended better. The perspective is really cool but a little bit inaccurate, though thats not a big problem. I like the surreal atmosphere of the wallpaper, it's a nice touch ;p! A good wall, and again I love the vectoring. I think you should change the title to "Flight of Simca" though xD! +Fav

I must admit my first thought was "why was this wallpaper highlighted even though there are a lot of wallpapers better than this and they stay hidden?". But when I saw this wallpaper fullscreen it was clear to me: awesome vectoring combined with a nicely done background. The perspective seems to be switching - but this makes the wall especially interesting.

The fact that the main image is done by vectoring a photo of a toy is well .. an artists problem. What concearns me is mostly the result - and the result here is definitely brilliant.

Hence: well done and keep up the good work. You have my fav :P

Firstly, to people who keep calling this figure a 'toy', please note that you can't actually play with solid, finished figurines, so please avoid that.

I think the vector of Simca was amazing, I don't think I ever saw something similar to what you did. However, I feel the super detailed sky doesn't fit well with the plain buildings.

Very nice. I must have been tough to vector the figure and make it look anime-ish.

The only things I don't like are her face, it could have been better, the buildings (they look too flat and plain) and the perspective of the piece of metal and the fence she is "riding". It seems off to me.

Anyway, very good job, keep it up.

was looking for a good simca wallpaper, just started watching air gear the other day. Gotta say this wallpaper stood out right away, great work and a decent size. I am really glad you didn't make it 1024x768 or 1280x960 those are too small to be useable with resolutions on monitors nowadays (1920x1200 here).

Man this is awesome, nice job! Only the buildings are placed too far away from each other I think. It doesn't give the feeling of a big city. But still, I love it!
