hmm .. good vector but i don't like the colours because they kill the eyes >.<" maybe because it's soo bright :( but i suggest you to make the colours less bright , and the background looks empty (o_o) .. i suggest you work more in the BG , i hope it's helped! :)

Woa, you really did a number with that scan, didn't you ~ The vector looks amazing, and I actually rather like the scan you chose. I can pick out the lineart a bit here and there : o Looks good ~ and the painted shadows came out pretty well, too.

You definitely succeeded in using the sketchiness of the lines and the textured colours to give the piece that aged and paperish look, which - I feel - also fit the theme quite splendidly (which is why x3 - I'm sure - you used it in the first place : P) ~ Speaking of which, the colours are beautiful, and the background ~ ! Oh gosh < 3 The entire colour theme of the wall makes me imagine the wolf running as the god-like tinted red wind on the golden water during sunset. It's beautiful; I love it < 3 I also really like the overlapping of the yellow colours in the background; I think that it was the effect that it emanated that made me think of water first when I looked at it ~

It's a gorgeous wall ~ < 3 The only little thing that I'd say I wasn't very fond of in this piece would have to be the character you added into the bottom right corner. Mm.. I do admit, it was a clever aesthetic addition, but either something about the font or how small the character is.. that kind of turned me off when I noticed it. I think.. that maybe if you made it bigger [?] and made it a bit more designed and perhaps.. centered it a bit in the middle right of the wall, it would have appealed to me more (but I think I might just being nit-picky : x )

Naw ~ overall, this came out very nicely, especially for an experimental piece ~ I'm looking forward to that Inuyasha wall of yours. Keep up the good work : )

Wonderful work, this deserves to be highlighted, no doubt. (Too bad I can't do that) This wall is made beautifully, using the right amount of detail to blend all the elements without an uneven shifting of color tones. I'm very glad that you painted part of the wall; it fits the look, and if you hadn't said anything I'd have thought that you had painted the entire thing. Oh, and the kanji in the bottom right-hand corner is another great addition that compliments Okami very well. I actually thought that it meant fire, so thanks for the clarification. Wind fits Okami equally well, and works even better since the wall shows Okami running! All in all, one of the best walls I've seen in a while. Keep it up! +Fav

Okami is my favorite PS2 game.And this one is considerably good.But,well,I think that it will be better that if Amaterasu is in the right part of this picture.

I have mixed feelings about this wall. It's impossible for me to see an image of Okami and not have an immediate reaction of simultaneous love and hate. Did anyone else want to wrap their hands around Kai's little deer-horned head and strangle the life from her each and every time she jaunted gleefully ahead of you in the forest-race-from-hell for the ever elusive stringed bead #90? I finally caught that little wench and let me tell you... she gave me what I wanted. =P

In all seriousness, a very pleasing paper. I like colors that are bright, but don't make my eyes bleed. I think you even made Ameterasu look nicer. In the majority of the original art she always looks unfinished, like the artist just stopped after a sketch with a #2 pencil.

I think your wall is really good. I like the way the fox is sketchy, but it'd be even better if around the mouth the fur kinda drooped over it a little, and the picture looks alittle blurred for some reason. anyway, i was told to give an honest opinion, and that was it ^ ^

I've always liked Okami, but I've never once saw such a good wallpaper as yours. Its amazing =D~ The scan at first was a bit blurry and dirty at first, but you cleaned everything up very well. The colors now stand out bright and the texture is soft and flowing. Fits with Okami's fur and the fire that circles around.

You have TRUE artistic talent and I'm extremely jealous Dx Awesome job!! Keep it up!!

nice wall but i feel as i seen this one before it doesn't really seem to stand out as much.

This is a good wallpaper. The bright colors work decently here, and while it could be faulted for being overly bright it does not break the cardinal sin of being so bright the focal point becomes indistinguishable or too bright that the colors mesh into each other, so the bright coloring is functional in every way. The focal point's location is a little odd, since the default position for desktop icons are on the left thus covering your focal point, but if your desktop is like mine where it's in the taskbar and not on the screen, then it doesn't matter in the end anyway. Overall I like this wallpaper, and you did a great job here. It's not enough for me to +Fav it, but it's certainly enough to give it my nod of approval and to use in teaching the new kids on what to take notes from.

It's really nice to see warm and bright colors, especially during the summer! Great vector work, sharp and clean. +fav

haiz there Bern. You know, I shouldn't even be online today, got flattened by a headache yesterday a few minutes after I logged in. I was working my head off for school =__= freaking didn't sleep and lived off a bag of chips, bread and coffee just to finish, just because you guys are on summer, doesn't mean I am too.

anyway about the wall, lol seems to me you got a little lazy this time. Kinda liked the contrast in the original scan- atm, bright colors make my eyes hurt. This is the second headache in a month and I can't stare at anything high-saturation.

I can't believe I never commented and faved this! I thought I did, but I was probably too lazy. I remember looking at it a lot, but I suppose I got side-tracked and left...anyhoo, it's lovely. Of course it's lovely. XD I love how you vectored and painted some. It really gives it the traditional Japanese painting look...all flowy and all. It matches Okami's style so perfectly! I love the bright colors you used, too, and the light texture is nice as well. Marvelous vectoring, it's very distinguished! I like the compromise of the wallpaper, the colors are overwhelmingly vibrant and beautiful and I think you did a fine job in mixing and blending them well. I could sit here and go over every little intricate detail as to what I like about the wallpaper but instead I will tell you this, your wallpaper is beautifully remastered and presented, the colors gives me a sense of serenity and the atmosphere gives me a sense of thrill.
