Less is more in some things, and this is one of those times I think.

(resize makes the red look ugly yes, but full size is fine trust me :) )

I vectored all three of the toys from Akira, and made all different walls from them, all nice and I cycle through them occasionally, then had to pick which one to submit... hard as there are about 12 versions, so this one I think is my fav.

I had a white BG version but it's a bit bright on the eyes so I prefer the darker grey, and used various brushes to test out but I think it looks better simpler, less is more :)

I plan to do the uglier side of this dream for a wall soon too... fans of the film will understand.

Submitted in 1440x900 and 1280x1024, enjoy.

And yes I do lots of Akira walls... obsessed much :P

Hi, what a lovely idea to show the three mutants in this way :l and it's nice that i'm the first to say thanks to this lovely wall 'cause i'm a great Akira fan. As you - i've seen your other Akira walls and i hope others will follow ^_^

I didn't know a word could make a wallpaper. I guess now I know. Really need to work on this more, because there's just absolutely nothing here really. Terrible wallpaper.

Like the shadowing effects you made here. Though the gray background color doesn't look too appealing to me, personally.
Though the red helps offset that bland look, it doesn't do so by much.

Either way, looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing!

oh this one's simple but really really cool. and although i am not fond of grey backgrounds, this looks nice. good one!

Artistic simplicity. Nice one. I don't understand the meaning of the 3 guys on it, but it's still a good wallpaper.

The three guys on it are the three psychic kids that turn into toys in Tetsuos dream, then become evil, so this is the calmer version, took me ages to vector them full size, but seeing them this small you cant tell :P but thnx everyone, i'm still improving.
