Rurouni Kenshin Eternity

I always liked him better in that "phase" of his, if that makes sense. I really like the colours you've used, and the effects. It looks really great; maybe it WAS hard, but it turned out great.

I think I'll favorite this. ;D

Everything is very textured, making it seem busy yet simple in conceptual detail. I think you did a fine job with the choice of text styling, effects, and the texturing of the stock photo background and characters. I'm not exactly good with text choice and how to manipulate it to fit into a wallpaper, so I really applaud you for the work on the text. :)

interesting, i love it when people play with opacity.

maybe the giant petal is a bit too conspicous...i would remove it and fix the hand.

maybe lighten up on the texture as well. but still a really cute wall with nice vectoring.

i think the overall texturing of this is wonderful, love the covers and the softtones. I think the oversized petal is a bit much though but I can see as it's closer you would get that blurred out of focus effect. I love the text as well. The end result was worth all your hard work since we get to see another nicely done textured wall

I really like how the cloudy background fits in with the sad mood of the overall wall. The scans you chose to use here are very nice. I particularly like how you made Tomoe transparent. However, I don't think the texture on them are necessary (it just doesn't look right), and the huge feather (or petal?) in front of Tomoe needs to go since it takes away the focus on the scans and leaves a huge glare in the center. But nice job anyway, Kenshin rocks! ^^

Beautiful job on this wall... I love it... The texture complements the tone of the wallpaper... I'm a big fan of these types of walls... The only thing that I can point out is that big white spot on the side of Tomoe's head... Other than that I really like this wall very interesting and unique... way different compared to all the other Kenshin wallpapers...

Weeh! I love the concept of your wallpaper. It's so romantic~~. However, I'm not sure it's the right choice of texture for Kenshin's hair and kimono. It looks a bit weird. And the huge petal that covers Kenshin hand disturbs me a bit. @_@ Other than that I really love it! :)

That's pretty sweet. Tomoe is a bit visually confusing at first (i.e. it seems she may be behind Kenshin which wouldn't make sense), but when it all clicks, it's a really well done piece. Good job.

=/ yah, the transparent Tomoe thing + blinding light looks slightly odd. The textures thing could've worked if it was consistent across the wall (i.e. in the background) but it's not... the text is slightly corny lol =P You've definitely made better u_u and good luck with the competition XD

hmmm actually a really weird wallpaper :O, I don't really like the strong textures, some softer ones could fit better.still a nice job on the vector. but I must say...the bg doesn't really fit well with the characters nor the colors =|. anyways I appreciate your hard work :D ~! nice try =O~!

Wow but did you make Tomoe look like she's disappearing? I thought it looked very symbolic like that! And I love the textures and colors that are used. They really blend very nicely with the background. Nice work! =)

i like the texture and the background. everything works well EXCEPT tomoe's face. the bright background/kenshin shirt transparency of her face is more anooying that true to the idea. make her translucent like kenshin...not all the way transparent...like a ghost with tanlines. otherwise enjoyable, but please make that small aleteration. you're too close to perfect to stop now!

Although I love the art style of Kenshin, I rarely like the walls for the series because they tend to focus purely on the violent aspects of the series or else on the pretty girls. This is one wall that absolutely broke that stereotype, and I fell in love immediately. With spectacular use of texturing and color, this wall managed to capture the emotion of Kenshin and Tomoe's relationship while conveying a sense of eternity. I especially love Tomoe's ghostly feeling. The text is a perfect fit artistically and contentwise for the wall as well. (And before I saw HK's description, I hadn't a clue that the petal over the hand was to cover up a problem area :) because it fit very well) Overall, a beautiful piece of artwork

I like this particular scene and you did it well, especially Tomoe seemingly fading away and the birds. I find the text to be a bit mushy for me, but thats personal preference.

Nice idea with the fading and all. The texturing looks good, but I almost think you went alittle too overboard with it.
