This is my Round One entry for Team Achromatic. The theme was "Summer Solstice". No colors were allowed for our team. Original scan here. I started this wall three days before the due date [today].
NOTE: SPF 100 refers to the strength of sunscreen. SPF 30 is stronger than SPF 15, SPF 40 is stronger than SPF 30, etc. SPF 100 -> extremely strong sunlight, and considering that the summer solstice is the longest day of the year there's going to be quite a bit of sunlight.

Something crazy unique always comes out from your mind onto the screen. And that's always something awesome :)
The blur/soft glow around the sunflowers is a interesting choice, considering most of the wall is made up of hard vectors. But I do like the gradient in the light rays, and the different shades for each level of the waves are a very nice touch. Nice work.
Hysteria by Muse is a very interesting song to sing on Rock Band. Methinks I want to check out some more Muse stuff now :D

For a 3-day rushed job, it definitely looks as good as it can get. Nice use of the colors (aka the shades of gray), and that SPF thingy got me ROFLing for a long time. XD Anyway, I do feel you could have done better than that, but I salute you for making something as good-looking in the time you had.

Such a lovely wallaper and with great concept and description to go with. You do realise that you used my fav colors in walls, right? I love grey as it makes my eyes not to bleed from the pain so much T.T

leelee it's cute. but i think the girl could use some more definition because she kind of blends into the bg. also, the ice cream kinda looks like it's made of rocks. o.o; but yeahhhh i guess it's too late to change anything now so uh GOOD LUCK!

the sunflowers and the girl are great, and the SPF idea is lol xD though the ice cream and the somehow look odd- the ice cream isn't really solid. In my opinion a gradient for the cone might have looked better, but it's still really good as it is now.
and making this in just 3 days is pure awesome 8D

Cute cute, very cute! I can feel the b&w sun shine though my hair o/ I usually use 30 cuz my skin's so white it gets sunburned very fast. > 3>
