I think people like you are crazy. J/K lol. Wow, there are so many buildings! I've never seen a place with so many buildings XD. Anyway, your patience is amazing, and I really like the mood of this wallpaper. It's like... eerie but gentle, hehe. The periwinkle (haha) really makes her ghostly. Also, you added interesting detail to her, especially her hair! I think some light texture on the buildings would help make them look more like buildings, but that may take away from the clean feeling, eh? But I do think that they are too perfectly smooth. And I'm not sure if there would be a horizon, which is pretty btw, at this angle. Nevertheless, I clap for you! *clapclapclapclap*

WOw how lovely and unique is this, I love the digital type atmosphere like being trapped in a computer floating endlessly from main frame to main frame, or you could see it as a angel first entering earth flying over houses as they blend together the higher up she goes. The resolution is so high quality and the colors are so sharp, her hair is flowing and how it fades in and out is just beautiful and her position is passionate as she clutches her body to her chest smiling sweetly as if in a dream. Everything looks amazing this is the best wall I've seen in days. A+ and a fav .(n_n).

Hmm lots of effort put into the wallpaper i see.But i got some concrens/problems with the background.Surely its made by 3D but it doesnt look good with the scan.The girl isnt 3D but is detailed yet the background is 3D but wihout any details except windows and lights.And those windows dont look good.The moon or reflection whatever it is behind the charcter could have become the main base in the walling but anyways as its ur first attemp at such wallies keep up ur good work.Try to make either both of them detailed or either both of them 3D.It doesnt look good this way.Hope my comment helps ya in the future wallies Good luck and keep ur hopes high ^^ *edit*: On the other hand to encourage u ^^ Fave+

For characters, the hair is Naisuuu~ cool looking. and the paint is also done really well.

Not your best work despite the amount of effort you invested into it >.>. The background is 3D yet the image is too obviously 2D so it contrasts. If only the background were little less 3D looking then it'd work.

I also feel it's lacking text -_-.

The level of detail on the buildings is awesome, and I love the lighting effects and such... looks so much better than when it first started. I also love that little strip of sea. It's so refreshing to see new elements put to walls aside from the normal vector from scan, bam instaloved wall... and the fact that you dared to do something new like that is admirable.

BUT, one question... the little things on the background beach shore near the sunset... I have no clue what they are... I'm wondering if they're people, a tree, grass or a fence ~(@&#95;@)~

Anyway, doesn't matter, the girl's cute, the fogginess is a great touch, the hue is gentle and nice. Great work <3

DDDx lol okay, it doesn't make a great war cry. i didn't know the word existed before i saw gid assign you that color. i learned something new. :3 it can be my new means-anything-and-everything word! like, that's so periwinkle! (NO i did NOT hit my head on something.) so "xia" means "summer" and "zhi" means "solstice"? haha, good job saku (or should i say yina?) for picking a title that many people can't pronounce. xD *cough* now the relevant stuff. >__>

yay you finished all those buildings! \o/ talk about crazy. >xD and using a 3D software is beyond me so thumbs up there. at first i thought the buildings were missing their shadows, which was weird, but then the rest of the wall loaded and i saw the closer ones do have shadows. the fog is a nice touch! you did your best for the blending, but i still kinda feel the difference there between her and the city...partially because i see her floating inside a circle as opposed to a bubble. :x ah periwinkles. (i thought i was saying wrinkles for a minute 8])

The background doesn't totally fit with the scan, but its not all that bad either. In fact, I really like the general feel of the wallpaper. Surreal, mysterious and eerie. She looks like a ghost haunting a town lol x3! Kudos to the massive effort of rending the houses in 3D >_<! I'd never be able to have the dedicatuion to do something like that xD! There's a few things that I'd do to the background : - add fog/mist that increases as the city fades away (not sure how that'd look but it would make the city feel more exotic.) - maybe textures on the buildings? though again I have NO IDEA how that would look. Could turn out terrible xD! Other than that I love the the wall, makes me want to watch the Anime. =x! +Fav P.S. the wall I love the most from you is still that Dennou Coil one - especially since I'm watcyhing th series now. It's just so awesome x3!

Well, the styles of the character and buildings don't match, but that's already been mentioned. It's not one of your best, but every wallpaper can't be amazing, I suppose.

Wow, I think the amount of hardcore work you've done at the beginning of summer really shows up in this wallpaper, even though the buildings could have been better, but would drive you mad if you try. That was also one of my issues as well - planning wallpapers in a short span of 1 week but which would be more scientific if finished over 3 weeks - in your case, 3 weeks probably wasnt enough. X3

I actually came across this brush on deviantart that actually painted window lights automatically for you simply by dragging the mouse in a straight line. This may be too late ofcourse, but then, yours is completely original, so props for that.

Also, the way you did your buildings make it look as if the whole city was submerged in waist deep water. I think it's something to do with the way the doors are cut off (. .)/

Ofcourse, these details are minor when you come across a work so rife with creativity. Apart from the solstice & summer that I don't quite get from this wallpaper, it's a magnificent work =D

umm... wow! you did great on this saku!! i know how hard blending an image rendered from a 3D program with an anime character can be, but you did a wonderful job at it. of course, the best parts are those you painted, like the hair. but you paint like a.... like a... hmm.. i dunno, but it sure is good. (nice comparison there dan *smacks self again^)

my fave fave part is the screenshot walkthrough thingy! definately lolable.
