Today we have renamed the scan upload type to pictures. We were not able to do this in v5 because scans was a hard coded category. We wanted to rename scans to pictures because the dominant use of the phrase scan in the anime community belongs to manga scanlations which causes some confusion. Pictures also more reflects the term most people would call them instead of the method of which they are imported into digital format. We would have also liked to have used scanned pictures or scanned images but our system does not support spaces right now. We hope you wont mind our change!

Welcome to v6! We have many new features for you to try out, badges with paper sharing, enhanced (working!) groups, better submission and art features, threaded comments and much more that I have worked on and forgot about over the months. We have a few features hidden in the background that we will enable in the next week weeks once we have confirmed server ninjas are not dying from unexpected server overload!
