Finally, it's all over...

These past few months have been very hectic. After a short vacation in the beautiful province of Cebu and Bohol (where I met up with one of AP's very own, Isteb). Life became a little "toxic" for me, so to speak.

Real life gets to you sometimes.

Two weeks ago, after duty, my Dad called me and said my Mom suffered from a stroke (a bleeding inside her brain). She was at work then and complained of severe headache and then vomited. She lost the sensation and movement of her right side. Dad said he's going to bring Mom to my hospital. It was weird making the decisions here for a patient so close to you. I made a couple of calls to my neurosurgery friends, made reservations at the OR, and prepared for the worse. I saw her at the ER. She was awake but in severe distress. My Dad (also a Surgeon), didn't know what to do. My brother (an medical resident) was also there and all of us can't do anything but wait for the experts assessment. The worse was true... she needed to undergo a craniotomy to remove the blood and clip the ruptured aneurysm.

A couple of months ago, I've encountered a 13 year old boy in the Social Service Outpatient Department of the hospital I'm working at. He's got a peculiar knack for anime. He knows the latest jutsu of Naruto from way back to the all the enemies of Ranma. His favorite, which he whispered to me, was To-Love-Ru. He's into the ecchi thing...

Well. It's almost a year since I joined AP and quite frankly I'm happy on how it turned out. When I joined the bandwagon, I wanted to make walls like Methane and JTsang. Their works were simple but had impact. My very first wall was similar to theirs . It was submitted through SZ and there was a lot of input from a lot of people with the improvements. It was received pretty well in the gallery and appeared as a daily favorite for a couple of hours. But, during that time, most of the input came from Nysha. Since then, the following walls then began to change, with each new wall employing a newly acquired technique. All of them came from different people, including Tens, horseradish, srsng and Nysha herself.
