Your cat is awesome. How old is he?

This one is mine: The people we got him from named him Cheetah, but we started calling him Goober, Goob now for short. The lighting isn't great in that picture, but that captures his...weirdness. That's how he sleeps. If you're lying down, he comes over and does that so he can get his stomach scratched. It's also nice having him around because he greets you at the door every time you come home :P

I agree with Kaisen. Out of all the anime I've seen (not meant to sound like I've watched a ton :P), she's the most beautiful. Now, take note that beautiful is a lot different than cute. If the topic title was "Cutest anime character (female)," then I would have a harder time choosing somebody.

Aww, seems noone noticed my computer pics :P Hoshi looks like it's in need of some duct tape. Or maybe a cast. It just looks like a motherboard and some random computer junk thrown into a box :D

There's also scenes in Paranoia Agent and they actually show people naked (*gasp!*). This is pretty much the gist of what happened: Paranoia Agent is basically about a bunch of people with mental illnesses. Harumi, a teacher, has split personalities. Her other personality, Maria, is pretty much the opposite of her. She works as a prostitute. Some people think that the innocent school teacher's other personality show her inner desires that have been repressed.

Also, in Satoshi Kon's other work (he did Paranoia Agent), Perfect Blue, there's attempted rape. I don't really recall much about it though. Also, I'm not sure if any of his other anime has sex in it or not. Haven't had the chance to watch it.

My desktop tower. Got it off eBay brandnew to replace my 6 year old Pentium III 933 MHz with Windows ME :D upgrades.

My laptop's desktop. I give up at trying to keep the icons organized. Every time I get them all in some sort of order, a fullscreen program will mess them all up again, so I just let them go wherever. :P

You can try this plugin or possibly this one too. If none of those work, just go to Mozilla's site and do a search for "Chinese" or "Asian" and anything with "Chinese fonts," "Asian fonts," or anything similar will come up.

I like just plain tea. Most of the herbal flavored ones are gross (peppermind, orange, etc.). Some orange spice ones are good, but you have to find the right brand. Earl Grey is disgusting and I have yet to try Oolong tea. So far, Green Tea is my favorite.

Do you guys still want this song? If so, I uploaded it here. It's a FLAC file, so it's high quality and has no compression. You'll need Foobar to play it or just the codec itself. If you don't want to download another media player or a new codec, I'll dig up a converter and turn it into an MP3 for you guys.

Also, I have the full CD with all the artwork and the booklet scanned. If anyone wants the full CD, I'll convert everything to MP3s (the whole CD in FLAC format is over 350 MB :X).

Well, if you want forums, I would recommend either phpBB or SMF. They're both easy to install and phpBB has a ton of addons and SMF also has quite a few. If you want a login system to be integrated with the forum, that wouldn't be too hard to do and I'd be willing to do it for you (need working examples for my portfolio for when I write my resume soon ;) ). If you can't figure out how to install a forum or any new skins or addons, there's tons of documentation out there and if no one on this site is willing to help, I'd certainly give you a helping hand.

As a Canadian citizen, I am kinda pissed about US gun laws. Those guns somehow end up in Canada and kids get shot. Yeah, BLAME THE CRIMINALS! Ok... if there were no guns in US, those kids would still be alive. "They could got stabbed or something." What's the chance of you walking down the street, and get in the middle of two guys knifing each other and get stabbed to death? I bet it's not higher than the chance of getting shot in middle of a crossfire. Again, this goes back to my first point of this comment. You can get rid of all those who might potentially abuse guns, or you can get rid of all those guns. Either way innocent people will be saved. You make it sound like you go into town and there's shootouts going on between people all the time. I'd like to point these statistics out. Australia: Readers of the USA Today newspaper discovered in 2002 that, "Since Australia's 1996 laws banning most guns and making it a crime to use a gun defensively, armed robberies rose by 51%, unarmed robberies by 37%, assaults by 24% and kidnappings by 43%. While murders fell by 3%, manslaughter rose by 16%."

 \* Canada: After enacting stringent gun control laws in 1991 and 1995, Canada has not made its citizens any safer. "The contrast between the criminal violence rates in the United States and in Canada is dramatic," says Canadian criminologist Gary Mauser in 2003. "Over the past decade, the rate of violent crime in Canada has increased while in the United States the violent crime rate has plummeted." 

 \* England: According to the BBC News, handgun crime in the United Kingdom rose by 40% in the two years after it passed its draconian gun ban in 1997.

 \* Japan: One newspaper headline says it all: Police say "Crime rising in Japan, while arrests at record low."

The United States has experienced far fewer TOTAL MURDERS than Europe does over the last 70 years. In trying to claim that gun-free Europe is more peaceful than America, gun control advocates routinely ignore the overwhelming number of murders that have been committed in Europe.

 \* Over the last 70 years, Europe has averaged about 400,000 murders per year, when one includes the murders committed by governments against mostly unarmed people. That murder rate is about 16 times higher than the murder rate in the U.S.

I'm just curious what your thoughts are on that.

They sure as hell banned the AR15, so you have to buy the new and improved M16. The AR15 is no longer banned. There's only a few states where it's currently banned. The AR15 is pretty much the civillian version of the M16, having a .22 caliber conversion and it's only semi-automatic.

Only specific dealers can sell full automatic and suppressed firearms, and only people with expensive licenses can buy them. I'd also like to point out that the government keeps a sharp eye on you. You can't get away with anything when you have an automatic weapons license.

And even if it did happen, it's not the shooter's fault. It's the kid's fault for running out there, and the parents' fault for letting him run out there. Uh, yes it is the shooter's fault. If he sees something running around in the woods, you're supposed to identify it first. When hunters don't identify targets, that's when you hear about other hunters being killed in the woods.

Anyway, the law says that even in a private property it is not allowed to shoot outside on bottles (only hunting animals in defined areas & periods is allowed and you need an official license). You can shoot anything you want on private property as long as it isn't living and it's your own property.
