Ha ha... yeah everyone seems to like chibis (and what is wrong with that?) :D

Ouch, that is kinda blunt but like I told Glass honesty is far better than telling me it's great when it isn't. Mmmm... blushes really seem to cause me problems, don't think my next vector has them (can't check as I didn't bring the pic along for the weekend) so not sure when I'll get to practice again. I've actually considered vectoring smaller pieces of images for practice but still haven't gotten around to that. Well, it's not 100% unexpected as I did finish this vector quite a while before Fallen Angel even though I only posted it afterwards. I guess ultimately it all boils down to not producing vectors too fast (18 hours versus the more regular 100 or so) as I seem to need lots of time to tweak everything. Really should dump some extra time into practicing eyes (and the like) but that doesn't seem very likely in the near future.

Ku ku... don't sweat it, once in a while you have to fall down so you can get up and do a better job. Guess I was getting a little big-headed. O_o Once again, thank you for the comment and critique I really appreciate it.

Hi Glass, thanks for the (brutally?) honest review. :) While it's true that it is nice to have your praises sung every once in a while (worship me, love me!) it's true that honest critique is what helps one grow. (However can one hope to improve when no one ever tells you what you do wrong?)

I guess the expression might be due to the fact that I've watched a little too much Robotics;Notes and Kona-chan eventually mellows out quite a bit. Honestly though, I really do suck at expressions so it is something I have to work on. Took me ages just to get it this far but practice makes perfect!

I agree about the blush. :( I honestly wish that I could blame it on my monitor but the truth is that I'm still having an incredible hard time getting the more subtle things right (and even some less subtle things). Seems that my color perception/mixing is becoming better but still not where it should be. I'll just have to work harder next time.

Ah ha haaa... don't sweat it, I really prefer honesty over.... mmmm... can't really think of anything appropriate. :/ Helps me a lot when I have something specific to focus on when I do my next vector. Once again thank you for your continued support, I honestly appreciate it!

I seldom go back to a vector but might make an exception this time around if I can get some time over a weekend between anime, manga and studying for certification. I was also thinking a blueish shade for the wings would be cool (you can still see the faint blueish tint in the grey of both the wings and the feathers) so we'll see. Glad to hear I can make someone day, will try and keep the chibis rolling. :) Thank you for the ongoing support, I really appreciate it! :D

Arigatou gozaimasu! (Ugh... feels so wrong typing that in Romanji) anyways... Yup, still to poor to buy a new monitor :'( so I just went through the the Monitor Calibration steps in Windows and it seems to have turned out fine. I also took a lot longer deciding which colors I wanted to use trying to keep them close to the original but brighter, very glad it turned out all right. I guess that is true, really hope someone walls this it would be awesome to see, any takers? <-excuse the shameless plugging :P Really need to get a good tut on doing tears although I usually don't do crying characters... Once again, thanks for the comment, always appreciated. :D

Know how easy it is to fall into the trap of gaming/anime/work and not vector so I've made it part of my schedule! (At least one hour a night, give it a shot.)

Yeah, it seems the mouth really did end up too dark. Might get around to fixing that at some point in time in the future and upload a revision, we'll see. Ah ha haa... each unto his own it seems. Really need to get my display properly calibrated, it sucks when I think it looks fine and everyone else says it is too pale. Oh well...

Mmm... that edition will need some work to bring it up to the same quality as this one, but it might be nice to do when I have some time.

Yeah, it's insane! So no real solution too the blush lines?? Mmm... this was really the only solution I could find but there must be a way. Mine just looked unnatural so I just left them out (all in all, I'm not sure that they would really fit with this image anyways)

I seem to really have an issue with pale colors. I'm wondering if my monitor isn't adjust too darkly (I had it more washed out, but that just hurt my eyes.) Really thinking of grabbing a colorimeter and fixing the problem once and for all. I actually find the jacket a bit too dark. The original looks far closer to white with this pale pink, but I just couldn't match it. Oh well...

Yeah, I'm guessing that is what drew me to this image most. Patience, a chibi is on it's way (see my post above)

Gomen nasai, gomen nasai! Don't mean to make you suffer just couldn't find a chibi that I really wanted to vector recently. Either chibis have become rare in shows or I'm just watching the wrong ones. I have recently found one that I like (It's queued for vectoring next, YAY!) so your withdrawal should be at an end. :D

Yeah, that is true but by the time I got the blush so far I was kinda scared to fiddle with it any more. I actually really wanted to add the little squiggly lines as well, but that was just hell, so yeah. Whoops, I didn't notice (I always seem to forget something) that lock was actually unshaded in the original image and it seems that I just copied it over and never looked back. :$

Ah ha... I still find the lines tricky although I now try and do smoothing and error correction as I go along rather than afterwards. Often though I will find a line that I'm not quite sure what to do with and then it kinda ends up blunt. Will work on that in my next vector.

Mmm... the mouth was tricky. Didn't want to leave it as a line so expanded it a bit. Looking at it now I guess it's a bit too thin and the color seems off... too dark compared to the rest of the image.

My on hold vector: Lines only. Thinking this one will be on hold for a while still, the eyes are really tricky and I wanna do it right.
