Using another font might be difficult because there are only a few japanese fonts (I know of) which can produce kanji and they don't really fit. And like I said, this is the original logo of the anime/manga and I wanted to keep that so people immidiatly know what show this is. Maybe I'll try to lower the saturation a bit. Will try to change that as soon as I have some time on my hands.

I can see why people complain about the border of the font, but the font as such? This is the original font they use for the manga. What font would you recommend?

It got in fact rejected. No reason was stated. Hm, I wonder if the problem was the colour thing you mentioned. The sized should be correct, hm, I'm gonna check technical details again.

I wish they would state what the problem was.

Edit: Ok, when trying to submit it again I realised that I probably didn't enter the animename and section properly. But I added a version with a more yellow bg like you suggested and also made another size for more variety. There are two versions now. I hope it'll work this time.

Ah well, not much going on here ^^' I will simply try to submit it and then I will see if it gets rejected or not.

The colours and shapes are quite plain but that's ok. I don't like the brownish/green of the road. I liked the grey from your first attempt better.

alright i did some changes. i made it a bit darker and made he BG more watercolour like. also i tried to give it more depth using some light and shades. the shillouette is moved a bit now so i hope it doesn't look weird anymore. how's it?Click Here

about the size..i double checked it..there shouldn't be any problem. the size is 1920 x 1200 and it's the same size on the host. perhaps you have to click on it again or open it in an extra tab or it's your browser. i'm not sure but for me it shows in original size in ff.

i see the points you mentioned. i wil try to change the BG a bit to fit it more to the watercolour style.
