What I find more painful is when a series is put on haitus and then never picked up again, or one volume is released in a span of years giving the fans a false hope...

I feel the same way. I think that is what happened to this one series I really liked to read a long time ago. It was called Under the Glass Moon. Tokyopop released vol. 1&2 but never released 3 and it has probably been about 4 or 5 years now. I don't really know what happened to it.
