I prefer to watch it in the original Japanese, you get more sense of the characters and emotions than an English dub, English just doesn't really go well with Anime, with exceptions of course to a few Anime.

A really long time usually, though it variates, I'll sure spend hours checking for anime to watch ;). Though it doesn't feel like a long time when you watch episodes in a long chain ;3
