Fantastic wallpaper. Love Gundam SEED!

This is just fantastic. The extraction is very nice, and I like the lighting effects. I still haven't watched SEED Destiny, but I love Gundam SEED. One of my favorite Gundam series. Fantastic job!

I think the background looks just fine. Of course, the characters steal the show as it is, so you don't tend to focus on the background anyway. XD

I still have quite a bit to learn about making wallpapers. For now I suppose I'll stick minor photo edits, but I'll continue practicing. Thanks again for the constructive criticism.

A good image, though. I agree with damoser, you should ease up on the effects. Make her stand out instead of hiding her amongst the tendrils/whatever they are.

I concur with hatesyou. A very good wallpaper. I like very much like the blend of colors.

The lineart is good, but it seems kinda empty to me...I'm not sure what to do to fix that, though (I'm also new to walling). Maybe put some kind of text to fit the mood of the image in the empty space and fade it a bit to kinda blend with the image?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like the only difference between the two images is that the "cold" image is just the "warm" image in grayscale with the exception of the eye and the red lining of the coat/jacket.

Good attention to detail, and I like the shine effects you used on the eye and the headband.

Hence the reason I put it here before trying to submit it. I wasn't exactly sure if it would fit or not, since it's done in an anime sort of style.

Even so, I would appreciate any and all feedback on the wallpaper, if some could be provided.

Not sure what full-metal was referring to when he/she said there were way too many errors. The least someone could do if they're going to mention errors is to make SPECIFIC REFERENCES so that the wall creator can use the comment as constructive criticism instead of just idiotic flaming.

That being said, I think this is an awesome wall. I haven't gotten to play XIII yet (sadly), so I'm not privy to who the characters are, but this is still an excellent image. Keep up the good work.

Ah, thanks so much for the quick response. And yes, the request for vectoring was merely for scaling (and possibly getting the image completed so I don't have to leave the girls in the corner there).

I have one tiny question about the description of the colors you gave. What if one was, say, a bit color impaired? I'm slightly colorblind, and have trouble with shades of colors (mostly shades of red). Hence most of my color selections I run past my friends, but none of them are really into graphic design, they just like pretty pictures.

Honestly if anything I'd change the background. The colors I used for the characters I pulled from a screenshot from the game, so I don't want to fool with them too much (though I have considered just redoing the colors from scratch, if only because I do feel they're too blah). Especially the hair...God the hair bugs me. >< It also occurred to me that I hadn't done any kind of color highlighting or anything (this again goes to the color issues, I'm always afraid of messing something up).

If you have any recommendations for good tutorials for making backgrounds I would love to check them out.

You're right, I did overlook the original anime art section. I will take a look at it and if I feel my other wallpaper fits it I'll start a new topic here to show it.

This is an absolutely fantastic wallpaper and I have no idea what series it's from (never heard of it, anyway). However, just reading your description tell me how new I am to photoshop in general. It never even occurred to me to use different types of brushes when coloring an image. I really need to look up some tutorials.

*jaw drops* For the simplicity of the design, this has a major impact on the viewer, if you ask me. I love the idea of text as art, especially since I specialize in literature, as opposed to drawing/painting.

It's a decent game. The controls are a little hard to get used to at first, but you get used to them. The cover is all fan service. XD

Nice use of textures, though I think the knife and coins/pouch just don't fit. They look...odd. I can't say why, they just do.

Other than that, a very nice wallpaper.

Ah, so there IS another Stein wallpaper! I don't feel quite as sad, now. XD

...I still think we need more Stein wallpapers, though. He's epic win. XD
