That explains why it isn't going to happe

No need to clarify what was perfectly understandable.

Now, if the link can't be placed then there's nothing that can be done. If the username to which the wallpaper belongs can but put, then at least that narrows the search from hundreds to just one.

It is a first step. Maybe a link can be placed in some future time or version.

It's actually not "a couple lines of code" for what you are asking. The nature of how the rotation banner works will make this link a complicated thing to do, which is why Bantam won't be able to do it yet when he has bugs to take care of. Rotation has nothing to do with CSS, mind you.

I now it has nothing to do with CSS. I am an experimented programmer in PHP and I am also good at handling CSS, HTML and JavaScript. I don't know which method Bantam uses to select a wallpaper. But I am sure it is one of two.

Either he reads the entire wallpaper directory and selects one randomly. This in itself can be divided. He can first select a random user and then select a random wallpaper from that user. Or, he just ignores the users part and just gets a wallpaper. With this method (ignoring a randomly selected user) it could be hard to place a link. True. But, I don't know how they store the wallpapers. All together named with their id? Or each user has a folder for their wallpapers, and images are named with the id or do they retain the original name? IF each user has a folder, and a folder is selected randomly first AND images are named with their respective id, then a link CAN be established.

Second method, which I think is most probably the one used. The function selects a wallpaper from the wallpapers table in the database used to store and relate each wallpaper to each user (for faster indexing). That said, once a wallpaper is selected randomly you can directly tell from which user it is. You can also get the wallpaper name, id, and anything related to it inside the database.

Wallpaper links are made with the user-name and wallpaper id. Example.

So, not hard. Not as important as other bugs. I get you, but I never said make it now. And all we need is the: Put into to-do list. :P

Hmm... why not place a link. Is it too much of a hassle? Couple of extra lines of code -_-", little CSS and styling. Shouldn't be that hard. Not like I am asking you to vote for Mr. Bush again.

Putting the name of the user that created it is also good. But I still vote for the link :P

Which is the Best Final Fantasy?

My my, why do we always have to go for: which or who was the best. Come on now, nearly every FF game out there is very good or excellent. I mean, surely you can get one that tops another in most "categories" you consider, like graphics, difficulty, leveling system, magic system, summoning system, side-quests, chocobos, etc.

I'd dare say FF VII tops a lot of other FF game in many categories. Surely graphics and sound can't be compared head to head. You have to compare it at the time it was released to other same time games.

What I can tell you: From FF V (Jap., afterwards released on PS1 and GBA if I am not mistaken) I really enjoyed the story and job system. It was FF's first job based game and it inspired other job oriented RPGs. Maybe it wasn't the first RPG to incorporate jobs, but man, it sure seemed like the best one when it was released. The difficulty is high compared to back then. Music scores were great too.

From FF VI (Jap., know here are FF III) I really like the characters, character development and story. Fights were also great. This one lacked the jobs system but, you really didn't miss it that much since you got a load of other stuff to do and concentrate on.

FF I, II and III (Jap., FF I was known here as FF I) I really didn't play that much, but they were good games. I mean, they were the first of them. Story was good, and so were the scores. However, I think the games really started to excell with the coming of FF IV.

Enter FF IV (Jap., known here as FF II), what an awesome game for its time, not to mention the HUGE size! Bosses were a real challenge in this one. I don't have much more memories, so I'll have to dig it up and replay it some time.

This brings us to FF VII, my series favorite (but that's just me!). Story, character, music, bosses, magic, sounds, graphics, movies, summons, side-quests, limit breaks and chocobos! This game had it all SUPERB. I can confidently say this game has very few to no weaknesses. The game has you fighting on the get go as you hop off the train. The materia system is one of the BEST MAGIC AND SUMMONING SYSTEMS ever! You could do tons of combinations till you found out those killer ones. (Quadra Magic Master Magic anyone?). I remember having so many millions of gils in the game. I once had 14 All materia mastered, each on costing over 1,000,000 gils (1.4M, wasn't it?). Summons were awesome (maybe you could have gotten to hate that you had to endure all the summoning animation after a gazillion times). But I will never forget those limit breaks and the infamous "Midgar Zolon". Man, I was so pissed at it that I tested my Omnislash on it first (I was lvl 6x). Man was it fun killing it. I completed every quest and got every character to lvl 100 (I'm a freak, I know. But! I did it after beating the game lvl 6x, since beating it in lvl 100 wouldn't have been fun).

Next up I beat FF VIII. I really liked the improved graphics and the life-size charcater models. T-Rex was one of my most infamous enemies (the biatch!). The card gaming system was superb, I got every card and had a really huge collection. The junction system was something very nice, it influenced directly on your characters development. (Believe it or not, my secondary party was far STRONGER than my main party). Again, limit breaks were awesome and Squall's gun blade really made a difference. I also liked (sometimes I really didn't like it) that the monsters would level up with you, always maintaining the challenge everywhere you went. This wasn't sometimes nice, since you could get stuck in a place fighting really hard monsters trying to get to a save point. Bosses here were awesome too. I wish they had put more than FF VII, but oh well.

FF IX gets released! When I got my hands on it I really got excited. All I was thinking was: yeah, limit breaks, gimme them. However, once I got, well, I felt the game let me down. After three excellent games (FF VII - VIII), I felt Square really left me down. The game didn't really excel in many areas aside from graphics, FMV and possibly sound (arguable). Story wasn't that great and neither were the character development. Can't really say it 100% like that, since I stopped playing it.

FF X is my third favorite FF. The Sphere grid system is really fresh and the empty spaces really leave character customization open to your will. Story very good and character development is great. The blitzball mini-game is good and keeps you entertained. Limit Breaks (called Overdrives here) get back to what they should be: an awesome attack combo dealing devastating damage). The summoning system gets tweaked and you can now skip the full FMV and get to the damage). Bosses are huge and fun to fight against.

FF X-2 was, well, not what I expected. Haven't fully played it yet. From what I did play and from what I've read. Its a good game, but not one of the best. Frankly I am glad FF VII didn't get a second coming. Some things are better off as they are.

FF XI, FF XII and FF Dirge of Cerberus I still have to play. Whew, length post, but I got most of it out there :P. Enjoy! And thanks for reading.

Nintendo buys Monolith

Well, this seems like a very good news. After loosing Rare they really gave up an excellent developer, hence a good slew of excellent games. (Remember that all Rare games went through Nintendo's debuggers and game testers, which made sure the game was top notch).

Monolith is also a great developer, so I expect to see very good games on the Wii from them.

PSP

Well, the PSP does have good games like Me and My Katamari, Loco Rocco, Luminies, and some other games. Personally, it is a decent system for numeros genres, but definitely not for fighting games if you like those. Button layout just tires you hands very quickly.

Racing games are fine, but sometimes the analog thumb can be a bit of a hassle. If you like to watch videos and want something that can play videos, mp3 and games get one. If you are in for the games take a look at its game library and at the NDS's library and make your choice.

NDS is getting more and more popular, so it'd make a good choice. You can't play videos and mp3 that easily so that may turn you off, but its popularity makes sure big games get released on it (like Final Fantasy for example).

The problems of the people were and are made by people. Until people change their ways of seeing and doing things nothing is ever going to change. And I don't just mean that there should be more organizations made (like UNICEF and such), since the real solution to the problems will come when more than 50% of the world acknowledges that something should be done to solve it.

Aside from this, remember not everyone in these "non-profit" organizations are free voluntary workers. Some of them do get paid money for their work over there. If they use or not any donation money is out of my knowledge, maybe I should ask someone that knows.

I really hate it when people do this kind of things. Has happened a lot in Deviantart to various artists, but these seems to be no end to this.

For one, you can report the item for copyright infingement, here is the link to the report form: Report Item.

When seeing the options I got these, but I don't know which suits your case better. Take a look please:

When you are there select the following options: Step 1: Copying of your listing Step 2: Someone copied text or pictures from another Web site or eBay user Step 3: <none>

Step 1: Stolen Property *Step 2: Someone stole your intellectual property (for you) *Step 2: You suspect stolen property is for sale on eBay (for others wanting to help) Step 3: <none>

That's about it. Leave us your opinion and then some of us can report this theft. Luckily eBay will hear us.

DOA´s fans here

There are a lot of "DoA Girl Fans" out there, and I won't deny I do like the girls. But, I also like the game play that DoA offers. If I am not wrong it was one of the first to introduce the countering system and has since refined it to a point of perfection (albeit a DC to PS2 port which wasn't really that good).

Again, the guys that make the game also like their girls since they always opt for the most polygon pushing console around (this time the PS3).

I really enjoy the 2 on 2 battles, however, I think they should diversify a little more the combos that they make when doing the 2 on 1 tag change combo. I mean, I understand some character pairs (like Tina and her father) having special 2 on 1 tag combos, but in the last game I played any non-special combination had kinda like the same combos.

I really like the change to multi-tier stages, real sweet. Graphics wise, jaw dropping as always. Sounds as good and so are controls. There are times when they seem a little sluggish but it doesn't happen that often.

I give the DoA Fighting series (excluding others like beach volleyball) a 8/10. I am waiting for the next installment in the series. I hope my friend buys it :P.

Square Enix Decision!

Remakes are good... if done well. I mean, it is basically the same game with nicer graphics. If that is so, I'll keep my current PS game thanks, I will no shell $60 just for better graphics. Now, give me something new and we'll see then, because that new stuff has to be worth my $60.

I'd really love to see a FFVII remake with new harder bosses, maybe new summons and new materias. I mean, possibilities are endless. However, most of the times we just get better graphics.

I am not saying that is bad. Sometimes, revamped 8- and 16-bit games are worth the dough because the really put in some effort. Then again, I still argue: why not a little extra stuff. Can adding new bosses and enemies be that hard. Or making the game a bit harder?

I mean, we can debate this over and over. Some will disagree with me, but I am not a graphics fan. Graphics is the least of my worries, first I have game play, then controls, then sound and then graphics. Give me a 10 in all those and I will call you GOD, and those are just my preferences. But it is hard not to want graphics, I mean, horror games are all about the ambiance and graphics could play a very important part as well as sound, but sloppy controls and boring game play will certainly not save the game. You could probably play through it in a true gamer way, but it will maybe leave you disappointed.

Remakes: Good, but please, if you give us nothing new don't try to rip $60 from us, that is just unfair (not that the world is fair, but w/e).

Should manga only be japanese???

Avatar for SparoHawk

Well, actually, manga is just a way of us calling japanese comics in order to differentiate it from american comics. In reality they are just comics.

From Wikipedia: > Manga is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. Outside of Japan, it refers specifically to comics originally published in Japan, or works derivitive of the style. Native Japanese are often unaware of the use of Manga to refer to Japanese comics specifically.

More info: Manga @ Wikipedia.org

Its the same with anime. We us it to refer cartoons or animations coming from Japan. True that anime can be considered and abbreviation for animation, but generally anime falls under a subset of animation.

How long does it take to read manga?

Avatar for SparoHawk

Well. The question is a bit vague. Maybe a little clearing up would be good. I mean, is it "How long does it take ** you ** to read manga" or "How much time do you take to read manga".

Two days ago I finished reading Great Teacher Onizuka (excellent manga BTW), and I took me like around little more than 1 week to finish it off. It has a total of 25 or 200 chapters (called "Lessons"). Every night I sat and read maybe 2 or 3 volumes and there was this weekend when I read most of it.

I am a fast reader, but a good deal of it stays in my head. Normally I read that fast when I really like a manga. Since I have already read it, I will re-read it on a slower basis to retain more information.

Yeah. Bleach manga si getting awsome, but i really want to see Ichigo fighting at full potential with his mask on. I mean, he is supposed to kick Aizen's ass, but currently he can't take over the Cuarta Espada. And in the manga where "darkness" is covering him it seems that he is going into his inner world to have a chat with Zangetsu (this time the old dude).
