A better comparison would be (as someone else already pointed out) Anime versus American cartoons in general.

American cartoons definitely seem to be more on a joke side; seldom do they look at serious problems seriously. I'm disappointed at the quality in the drawing stiles, everything keeps looking boxier or more distorted and the stories keep getting even more shallow...

Anime has a full range of emotions, situations, topics, feel and drawing stile so that almost anyone can find something they like. In anime you aren’t stuck watching re-makes of old "classics", because new stories are always coming out from the woodwork. In American cartoons.. Superman, batman etc have been overly re-done; I would like to see new original characters outside of the DC world... In anime there is something for any age, american cartoons pretty much snub more mature viewers.

Disney is its own little world. Stories do tend to have similar key points Good guy/ girl Bad guy/girl (always has a funny seen) Ending (love wins)

Disney has a VERY hard time making good sequels and they should give that up (just my opinion) My fav movies thus far are Cinderella, little mermaid & finding Nemo :D

you cant possibly be that shy if you can break dance around even just a few people! :p I like to dance by myself; I have always felt awkward dancing around other people. Still, I think its ok when I am dancing around people who are equally as bad as me. ;)

YAY!!!!!!. This is by far the most random topic ever. Im now goin to go to Noth Dakota, finding the oldest person that i can see and gettin like 10 000 pics with him. It'll be great. I'll mak a day of it. Ill take him skateboarding and we'll play paintball then go to a karaoke bar and we'll sing and sing and sing. I love random!!!!!!!!!

Jessica Alba Definitely looks better with brunet or raven black hair. Blond hair does not look good on everyone... in her case, it washed her out and she doesn’t look as smart.

For some reason it seam’s that stars will color their hair the complete opposite of what it was when they where less well known, I guess to make a change in honor of their new status. Someone should tell them that the reason they got so popular was because people liked how they where "as-is" and not "so long as they change the color of their hair".

Alcohol is used for 3 main reasons 1- you like the taste 2- you use it to enhance the fun 3- you are avoiding something

The first reason would be the only good reason to take a gulp, the second reason is fair but it’s already bordering on dependency which leads to 3.

Drinking does not stop depression, it just makes you forget why your depressed for a while, which makes you feel better. The bad thing about avoiding things with alcohol, is when you finally do sober up, it will probably be too late to fix what ever was bothering you in the first place. Well, it’s not always too late, but sometimes most of the good part of your life will have been wasted (if that’s not more depressing, then I don’t know what is).

Part of me says that if you kill a child or innocent person in cold blood that you should be killed the same way (some people get off to easy with just being electrocuted, in my opinion).

The other part of me says that I don’t have the right to judge anyone and I don’t want any blood in my hands when it comes to ending someone’s life. I may agree with a certain crime getting the death penalty but I would not want to be one of the people making that verdict.

If you consider the fact that people who are colorblind only see shades of gray, then the answer is no. Also, depending on someone’s eye site or color perception, what Icall brown may be called maroon by someone else.

Hmm never thought about this before.. I guess for the most part, I root for the main character. There are some instances, however, where the main character(s) just get on my nerves or aren’t as appealing to me as a secondary one would be. These are few and far between.

I try to buy 3 new tops and 2 new pants about once every 3 months at most. I rarely go over $60 dollars. The only way I can stay in budget is by looking for sales and name brand equivalents (similar but with ought the brand label or price tag). Places I never shop at include: Old Navy & American Eagle; these places may sell nice looking clothes but the material used to make them is very cheap & can only handle a few washes until they become rags. I'ts my hard earned money I am spending, so I make sure the clothes I buy are trully worth buying.

I like some of daftpunk's music. "One more time" what the first thing I ever heard from them, pretty good stuff. I Visited their website a month ago, not much information there and only one music video to listen to. Do they have a better website I’m not aware about?

I don’t care how into anime anyone is. As long as going too far doesn’t mean hurting another real person.

I used to be in the "I wish I was Japanese" phase.. I got over it though because I like myself and my native culture. There are also certain things I don’t like about Japan that I am happy I grew up somewhere else. Anyways I still want to go to Japan and I am learning the language.

As long as the anime otaku is just having fun and not hurting anyone else, then what is the problem? None in my book. Pass the pocky!

Actually, on average, I only watch about 3 hours of tv a week at most ( if at all). I mainly watch anime from the web or buy videos. I keep up with current events by reading news articles online through sites like BBC, MSN etc.

With football(soccer to most people in the USA) being on tv right now, It looks like I may up the hours a bit. XD

I like school when I am taking I class I enjoy (right now I'm not), so for now my answer is home. :p

I seam to be collecting “Crystal Light” Tea mix containers...(The tall plastic ones) o_O;; I keep thinking that I am going to do something cool with them.. What? I have no idea, I just know my kitchen cupboard is full of them now..

TEA!! I luv tea :) Coffee is to strong in the morning for me, I can control the taste of tea (so many flavors) and just how potent they are to my system. Right now I am drinking a mix of "Roobios Tropica with Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls" tea (such fancy names). So yummy!

It’s a great story, I saw the anime. Only thing is that the ending was bitter sweet; Dark seams to disappear into shadows. I never liked Risa much; she was too into looks and not enough into character.

I like singing.. but in a group... behind other people... [stage fright] I especialy like how my voice sounds infront of the fan when I am singing :D

hm.. I draw or do something artsy; I always have art supplies and pending art ptojects to keep me busy when there is truly nothing to do. Also I will take a nap, then clean up around the house and then go out and find something to do if I feel cabin fever coming on.
