I would rather it was done by professional voice actors most of the time. However, some movie actors I've heard have done a very good job. It all depends on the range the actor has. I would prefer that if movie actors are used then they are there because they can bring something to the role and not stricly based on name recognition.

More Samurai Champloo
I haven't heard anything about a new season of Samurai Champloo. Everything that I've heard suggests there there will not be one:( I'm not sure if I am happy or sad about this though. I loved the characters from the show, but I also felt that it ended well and I don't really like the "never ending anime."
Trinity Blood
I love Trinity Blood. The story can be slow in some parts, but overall I've really liked it. There are some really great characters in the series. I am watching on Adult Swim now. The full series hasn't been released on dvd here yet, but I look forward to see what will happen, definatly when Cain gets into the story.
Divergence Eve
I can't really speak for the whole series, because I only watched a few episodes. I didn't really like the episodes I watched. I wanted there to be some humor in it. The only thing I found humorous was the boobs that defy gravity. To be fair though, I am a chick, so maybe that had some effect on my view. So take it for what it is worth.
Hi! Another Intro!
Hey. Nice to meet you. Hope you have a great time here at AP.
Anyone like 'dark' anime's?
I really like dark anime, like Berserk. It is cool to find an anime that just messes with your head and when it ends you just think "How could that happen?" It may be sorta screwed up, but I've always liked those kinds of things. I best part about it is that they usually don't have a typical ending. You think it will go one way and it totally surprises you. That is awesome!
Co-op or lone wolf?
I mostly prefer playing solo, especially until I get more experience playing. Usually when I first start playing a game I suck, so I like to get a feel for the controls and levels before I bring other people into it.
If I do play co-op my favorite to play is shooter games. Although I usually like playing against my friends, cause it is just more fun to shoot people you know.
Gungrave
Gungrave was an excellent series. It had a great story and the characters (especially Brandon/Grave) were some of the most memorable from any series I've watched. The ending was very sad, but I felt it completed the series quite well. I hadn't played Overdose so I didn't realize it took place after the series. I may have to find it and buy it now to see how that turns out.
Need info about BERSERK
I am an avid reader of Berserk and I know it is still being published. I'm pretty sure that vol. 32 is being published (chapter by chapter) in a magazine in Japan. Unfortunatly vol. 15 is the last available to buy in the US.
Why do people just have to tell evryone that they hate dubs?
No one can say that all anime that is dubbed sucks, I mean Cowboy Bebop was a very good dub. There are many excellent english voice actors that I think do a great job. I can see the point about there being some things lost in translation and the sub being closer to the real meaning, but unless you know the japanese language then that is probably going to happen anyway. The bottom line is it is all up to personal preferences. However, if people feel that strongly about it, I don't think you can stop them from voicing thier opinions even if it wasn't the intent of the post.
Whats the best english dubbed anime
I really like the dubs for anime distributed by Geneon usually. My favorite voice actors are David Lucus, Crispin Freeman , Kirk Thorton, and the like. I also liked the dub for Berserk, outtakes were really funny:)
What you lookin for?
The animation and story are really important, but it doesn't mean much without good character development. You have have to care about the characters to make it an excellent anime.
Kenfu Denki Berserk
I agree that the manga is a necessity if you want to understand Berserk. The anime is a good representation of what happens pre-eclipse, but if you want the detail on what happens after you must read the manga. The end of the anime just leaves too many questions.
I love ANIME!!! And Mangá!!! Which one is your favorite? ^^
I love both. However, I do agree that manga does have an advantage when it comes to getting into detail. Berserk is another example of how that applies. At the end you didn't know what was going on, but you get the whole picture when you read the manga.
I watch more anime than I read manga though. Anime is usually what inspires me to buy the manga.
What is the best final fight scene you have ever seen?
I have to be unoriginal and say that the first fight scene that comes to mind when I'm asked which is the best is the one between Cloud and Sephiroth in AC. However, Spike and Vicious in Cowboy Bebop was awesome and Ichigo and Byakuya in Bleach. Samurai Champloo ended with some cool fights too.
Dubbed vs. Subbed
For me it usually depends on which I watch first. If I watch subbed first I DEFINITELY can not watch the dub. I usually like the english voice actors for Geneon (David Lucus and Crispin Freeman are some of my faves), so I usually watch those dubbed. It all just depends. I will have to give it up though, most dubs are much better.
Childish of being watched ANIME?
People that say anime is childish, obviously haven't been exposed to that much of it. They have probably just seen anime like pokemon and yugioh that are played during saturday morning cartoons.
Where do you store your anime?
I have my anime stored in several bookshelves in the living room and I have a separate bookshelf for my manga. My anime figures are all crammed in on my computer desk. I need to get a separate shelf for them as well, cause I plan to get lots more:)
What type of genres you prefer watching?
I love all kinds of anime. I would probably say that action and comedy are my favorite. I mostly like anime that is based in historic japan, although I do like some mecha. Eva was a great anime and so is eureka 7. Hehe....I guess it is a little harder to pick a favorite than I thought.
what is/are the elements that attracts you to watch the anime?
The thing that draws me to an anime is the artwork of course. Then I find out about the storyline and read reviews to see what others think of it. Often even if it doesn't get good reviews, if it sounds like an interesting story I will still investigate it. I usually like to download if I can. I have a problem where if I buy something even if it sucks I'll buy the rest of the series, just for completness.
Does anime affect your mood?
Anime definatly has a direct affect on my moods. I usually choose the anime I watch according to what mood I'm in. If I'm upset, I mostly like to watch comedy to cheer me up. If I watch something depressing it usually takes me some time to recover.
BEST STORY
I would have to say Berserk. It has one of the most haunting storys of any anime that I've seen.
Which do you like, watching real movies or watching anime?
Certainly I like anime better. Since I started watching anime about 3 years ago, I have lost most interest in movies. There is so much artistic expression in anime that you don't find in movies. It is just more interesting and entertaining.
