Yay, Rakka's my favourite anime character next to Lain ^^ sad that you don't see as many wallpapers of those two... either way, I like the feel, even if it's something you wouldn't expect with Rakka, it works real well as a background.

also a plus for widescreen =D

It seems to have a lot to it but it's still simple, very nice, +fav. A widescreen version ready to dl would have been helpful, though it wouldn't be hard to edit it yourself...

awesome picture, I'd fav it because I just finished watching the show a few hours ago =D (loved it) but... the resolution is too low and I have a wide screen *cries* =|

I like it and dl'd it though, keep it in my wallpapers folder =D

thanks for the comments =D I fixed up a few things: +made the window end rather than go over the edge =P +changed to shading on the wire to match the shading of the girl (it was backwards on the first on xD) +added a little extra shading to make it easier to see how the wire bent in a circle near her foot (it's coming out) +fixed the reflection of the wire to look smoother +uncapitalized the 't' on Like a mint because I didn't like it captitalized +fixed the reflection of the window to correctly not go through her foot =P +made the walls texture reflect (its really hard to notice because it only has a 2% opacity)

I also made a lighter version (made the background a light blue [and the reflection of the background a light blue] and made the original blue colors lighter) so it didn't contrast as much, I'm not sure which one I like better:

ehehe, you're right angry cat, my moniter is 8:5, and that's an 8:5 wallpaper =D, I wanted the contrasting balance feeling for the wall, that's why it's so blank of a background, I tried to fill it up with a little watermarks and smudges though, but thanks for the comments =D.

Well, in my personal opinion, putting something in the middle would help, but maybe not in the very middle, more off to the left side instead or it would throw off the balance. Or mabye, if you didn't want to do that, increase the size of the logo in the bottom left, or move it a bit more into the picture.

Picture wise, it looks nice, but the pictures seem to clash, like the flowers/leaves look too plain while the girl is all glossy and bright.. I'm not sure that's something really changable though, and since it looks fine I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just a thought though =D.

And I think kaisen already said enough about the background =P. I personally think you should just make it a little sharper, the blurry background and the sharp pictures don't mix.
