Cowboy Bebop has the best OST hands down.

NGE imo would come next. Most of the songs are a bit theatrical so they carry a lot of the emotion that they convey on the particular scene/s that they coincide with. They're one of the few who use classical music alot. A number of fight scenes and the last episode mostly.

Paranoia Agent has one of the best overall soundtracks. Each track is nearly as strong and memorable as the other ones.

I'm sorry wintry but your title is misleading. A clash of anime worlds would mean a war between them, not a symbiotic relationship between two different animes.

A good cross would indeed be Bebop and Trigun. A conflict with both the main characters is inevitable though. Since one would hunt the other down. A conflict will still arise from such a merger.

So alike yet so different.

Having seen the original movie I know the key differences from it and the anime. They are ofcourse not going to have the exact same story. But the characters are nearly exactly the same in terms of what the oringals would've done would be essentially the same as what they'd do in the anime. Although the samurai introductions are different but it fits just fine. The movie was meant to be a movie. And the anime is meant to be a series. Mecha is just a bonus to hook a different kind of anime fan.

Let's see. i've only recently started buying anime for myself. But I'll try to list it as best as a possibly can since I'm not at home and can't refer to my DVD stand.

The fact is that I bear a certain resemblance to Li'l Slugger himself. I always wear a baseball cap with attached pins on it. (I'm actually trying to collect more pins to stick unto my cap.)

It's just that the way the whol story is structured and the story itself is quite unnatural. You should see it for yourself. You'll see what I mean.

WOW! that's so cool! anime clubs. I'm not in high school yet so i hope that the high school im going to in a year will have an anime club. i really hope so, otherwise i'd have to start one! although not many people at my school are that fond of anime. they look at my anime drawings and say that there good but you never know when they turn their back and say something cruel about me to their friends. i really hope that's the case. it's really not a pleasent feeling.

Honestly, art is art. People will have many different opinions on what you do. In the end all that really matters is what you feel about your art. After all art is something that one does for self fulfillment right? Although I understand the fear of having someone talk about you behind your back. You should just ask for an honest opinion and seek to better your art.

But yeah, our school was a special case. Magnet schools tend to be overpopulated with nerds. Oh yeah, it wasn't just a magnet school, it was a Performing Arts Magnet School.

Back in high school they had an Anime Club meeting every thursday during lunch. That was the Government room.

Now there's the tech room were all the Techies that take care of all the computers at school gather during lunch to play video games such as Super Smash Bros. Melee.

And there's the Comp Sci Lab where all the all the Magic and D&D nerds show up during lunch.

And FYI our school was a magnet school. Everything was computer based. Learning through the use of computers or accomplishing work through computers is recommended if not needed.

Nearly everyone in school was some form of a nerd. Even the jocks played some form of video games.

Although nobody ever got in a fight.

Mecha Anime Hands Down.

Nothing can compare to Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gundam.

Sorry, it seems that my comment is a little bit too narrow minded but it's just what I think.

These two are just examples of the defining Animes that the Mecha Genre has.

People even consider Gundam and Evangelion the "second impact" and "third impact" of anime. First was ofcourse Battleshipe Yamato.

Why is it that the 2nd and 3rd impact positions are held by Mecha Anime???

Its just that they're so cool.

One could easily lose all their grip on sanity just by looking into those eyes...

Rurouni Kenshin has always been one of the coolest animes I've seen. Samurai 7 is quickly coming up the list. I just haven't quite seen Samurai Champloo yet. I'll probably start buying em once all the DVDs are out in NA.

Neon Genesis Evangelion hands down.

It is by far the best Mecha Anime out there. It also helps that its quite complicated, so whenever you see it, it's like you get to learn something new everytime.

Well.... It wouldn't be a character for me. But if I did have to choose an anime character as a tattoo, then it'd have to be Asuka from NGE. She'd have to look cutesy. I'd have her on my back.

But if I was realy serious about getting a tattoo. I'd have my SN placed on my left chest all in caps.

All of them having Strike Freedom, Nu Gundam and Wing Zero Custom? Being in the same team. Give me anyone who could win against them? I don´t think anyone could do that =)

Like I said, I don´t see Nu rescuing the earth from the asteroid, more or less it was the willpower of the humans who somehow interacted with these psycic enhancers and thus created a force to move the asteroid away.

And if the version of Char´s Countrerattck´s subb isn´t to wrong, if Char hadn´t given Amuro the blueprints for the psycic enhancers Amuro never would have won. So in that sense Char is a better pilot than Amuro, and everyone said Kira sucked without his Gundams? Well with that comment I have to say Amuro sucks without his "Godly" gundams as well.

Bringing my thesis(just newly founded) that Amuro is the best pilot of the "old age" gundam and Kira the best of the "new age" of gundam series. But they both are very good pilots =)

Yes, Amuro had the funnels make a laser shield for him. But he wanted that. What he mentioned with the funnels being to sensitive was[spoiler} when Kayra was killed by the hand of Guyrin. The funnels reacted and saved Amuro from being killed by an electric shock. Then he said that the funnels were to sensitive.

No no, first of all it wasn't the will power of the humans. It was Amuro's Will Power and his Newtype Powers. Yeah, his will and newtype powers can avert asteroids combined with Nu Gundam. Monstrous ain't he?

And yes, Char did indirectly give the Psychoframe blueprints to Amuro. It was given to the R&D Department of Anaheim Electronics by Char so they can build the Sazabi to his liking. He also thought that there's no way that Amuro can match him without this technology. So the Psychoframe was integrated into the Nu Gundam. Nu Gundam on its own without the Psychoframe was designed by Amuro himself. Everything from the ground up.

The problem was when you say that Char is better then Amuro because he gave the Psychoframe blueprints to Anaheim Electronics Engineers.

He was told off by Amuro later on during their final duel. He said that Char always looked down upon others and that everyone was weak. In truth, Nu Gundam was just made more powerful because of it. On it's own it was enough to defeat Char. So, Char is no better pilot than Amuro. Making such a stupid mistake to give the enemy technology to defeat him is downright dense of him. So how could such a stupid person be a better pilot than Amuro when he's not smarter. And of course Amuro has beaten Char numerous times throughout the UC era. But Char has always had the knack of surviving. He survives better than any of those SEED and Destiny characters all put together.

Anywho, I think we should stop thinking of protagonists of Gundam as enemies with each other. Wouldn't it be awesome to see Kira, Amuro, and Heero all fight for the same side.

But yeah, Nu is just... powerful. It averted an asteroid on it's own. I've seen Gundams that can destroy asteroids, that's quite normal.... But move it on it's own... Geez... Scary if you tell me.

Wasn't Nu Gundam also able to raise a force shiel around it too with the use of the funnels??? I remember that clearly. He did it while he was complaining about how reactive the funnels are I think.

And why haven't you seen Nu Gundam? Buy a Master Grade kit and build it, Marvel at its beauty after hours and hours of finger cutting work. I see wing on Freedoms back. Sterilized wings, or bonelike wings. Wing Zero has more alive wings, but they still both have wings =)

If I find series with Nu Gundam I will watch it and afterwards, i´ll come back and tell you what I think.

I´m still waiting to get a climpse of Athruns new gundam as well. So we´ll see what differs from Justice.

Nu Gundam can be found only in Char's Counterattack. It's a movie, not a series.

I mean, why not buy? Where there's a will, there's a way.
