The general term 'anime' is very complex. The only thing I agree is that anime has a storyline. I agree with the colleage above, who says Studio Ghibli has value lessons. There are another titles that can express values too - but there are another genres for kids and for adults - just for entertainment. The other thing that is valuable for kids in Japan, is that a lot of moral and cultural 'karma' is inside every title. One thing that every anime fan should recall is this factor. Animes think in japanese way.

The thing is - I think we all love anime here... lol
