i haven't been here in forever. and i haven't talked to you in forever! but i have not evaporated off the surface of the planet, just thought i should let you know. xD;; there just has been a lot of real-life-things in the way.

anyhow, i shall be on the lookout for you online! easier to talk that way. (:

i haven't been around really... idk i guess life just moves on~ and this semester has made me realize how much last year spoiled me. xD; because now i have to dust off my learning gears and...learn stuff. so much memorization. D: and how have you been?

ahaha i fear i'm too lazy to actually ever go visiting. that and the fact that i have less time off than everybody else... and i, sadly, don't get many visitors because i am considered too far away. how long would it take to get here? i feel like i may be closer to you than to everybody else (except the ppl here, ofc) lol.

i do like the badge~ :'D and lol the papers. let's just say that i used to be very active in session zero and i didn't wall all that often using scans. (:

lol to push me to want to do an OAA wall, you'd have to buy me a scanner. ...or wait till i feel awfully hard working and have enough time on my hands to try to make the trace-from-photo thing work better than it does now. WAIT, or till i get comfortable using my tablet. 8D totally forgot i have a tablet.

typography is one of my weaknesses and the typography here is absolutely gorgeous and well-presented. and the colors! everything is beautifully crafted. this is one of my personal desktop favorites that came out of round 1. xD

hey, gid stole the explanation i was gonna give (since i don't think i worded it very well in the judging comment) lol xD but yeah, she said it well. yours was the second last one i commented on, i believe, and my wrist was really dying at the time. SO, i didn't get to tell you what i liked about your wall. first off, your art is so recognizably yours! (to be honest the sig-less-ness didn't help the anonymity of quite a number of Clash entries lol.) your OAA has always been very easy on the eyes~ the expression reads well and i like the subtle sort of shading in her hair. this almost makes me want to do an OAA wall.

bwahaha yours was the first on my assignment list and hence the first one i looked at. opened the file and was like YINAAAA 8D a good number of walls' styles were quite recognizably their respective wallers'. anyway, i'm here to re-declare how much i love your OAA and lovelovelove your painting. < 3

Haha then that's pretty much the same as me -- getting into university and smoothly sailing through first year. i'm not as well planned for the future though. i'm still very uncertain about what i want to do. ): gonna grab all the chances i can at getting a job/internship/shadowing opportunity in hospitals and labs so i can get a better idea about different fields of work.

and having time to stalk after show episodes means even less motivation to go back to walling. xD; ahhh i know nothing about season two couples. :( the sweet and romantic pair from season one would be alex and shinae though. but funny things happen with them too, like (i don't classify the following as a spoiler!) when alex shows up at shinae's photoshoot with the quadruplets (whom they're babysitting), looking totally like a disgruntled house-husband while saying to the kids "look mommy's touching another man" (well the other man's face). >D

lol it does get you to start listening to music. so many of them are singers. O: i find it difficult to stalk after star golden bell though, especially since i can only watch english subs. only if i were more multilingual. ;___;

hi again. i read a little bit of sarcasm in places so i know i came across wrong. i apologize. D: i actually do write a lot all the time (as i shall demonstrate again today lol) and i do follow up on any critique i get. from friends, i get critique over msn. so after submission, i don't get to hear much more about places to improve. as such, i appreciate any extra critique i get; it's just i'm one to hunt down specifics (not what you're used to dealing with, i suppose). i guess i am slower on the uptake? but anyhow, i don't like to guess which part a commenter means because i can guess wrong--just like with "brushes". (thanks for clearing that up!) please don't misunderstand me and please don't pin me up as "an artist", even if you mean well. i've been around long enough growing up as a waller in this community. if i had that much useless vanity and pride i would be the first one to slap some sense into myself. (or if not, i have great friends and this community to keep me in my place.) again, i had feared that i would come off defensive last time and i guess i did so i'm sorry!

it's my bad for not doing the proper description thing; will be fixed. as for artistic choices, they refer not to how the wall looks but to how execution is done to express the concept of 'unraveling'. i by no means claim to have done the concept justice though. but ignoring that, if keeping things on a purely what-is-seen basis, i can totally respect that the way i do typography is not quite your cup of tea. i merely explained in detail to let you know how i see it (and through your reply i now know your viewpoint more clearly).

hi. :D er i always try to respond to people who bring up issues with my walls but lol i don't know how to go about it this time without coming off defensive (especially since you hit upon two of my pet peeves -- i have nothing against you though!).

anyway i won't reason with you on the 'too messy' point -- that is a matter of concept/vision and artistic taste. but i would appreciate clarification on 'the details that don't fit'. i can guess from your description that by "brushes" (which they 100% are not ) you mean the unraveling lines coming off Yoite -- my excuse: a thing of concept. xD; (i don't know if you can grasp the concept and see why i made the artistic choices i did?) you named those lines as one example so i would like to know the others. and last bit about text: a difference in where we stand when we look at text. please think of my typography outside of the everyday context. the words' meanings, which are secondary, merely complement their shapes and colors and interactions. it's not meant to be read word by word. the legible ones lend their definitions to the atmosphere but that aside, they build towards an image and a mood just like any other element might in the wall. you don't need to see each and every circle or triangle or whatever clearly in other abstract walls to understand them; it's the same here.

sorry for like, taking up a huge chunk of your page lol xD it's just i've been surrounded mostly by people who see and understand things in ways similar to myself so i've never had to explain. and given this chance, i kind of just...wrote too much. :P and the chances of me walling again for AP/MT are very low. for various reasons. long story.
