To me, the 5th and 6th pictures look like photoshops. The 5th has some hue/saturation issues. The 6th has bad extraction of Ronaldo from original image (common statement here on AP ;p)and brightness/contrast mismatches.

Now as for Kadaj and the gang, those three were sort of like projections of Sephiroth's spirit created by the cells of Jenova that got into the Lifestream at the Northern Crater. More specifically, they were imbodiments of Sephiroth's desire to get a hand on Jenova so he could go find his Promised Land again, like in the game.

As for the core of the movie, it's actually more about Cloud forgiving himself than this whole Reunion thing. It's fun watching the movie over again when you actually know that the wolf is representative of Zack being with him and checking out all the places it pops up. The wolf is *always* where Aeris's symbols were too. Even the first time when the wolf is sniffing around Zack's sword, there were flowers near the sword at some point as well. I think this movie effectively killed all Cloud/Aeris-shippers who understood all the symbolism and crap and even some who didn't when Cloud called Aeris 'Mother' XD And hard-core FFVII freaks, like myself, remember that Aeris told Cloud she used to date Zack AND later on in Gonganga village, Zack's parents tell us he wrote home about her XD I'm pretty sure that Aeris only stopped dating him because Zack disappeared (the Nibelheim incident) if you look at how that letter was one of the last they got from Zack."

like the story on ordinary otaku, especially the focus on Kasukabe-san and her futile attempts at de-otaku-izing her boyfriend, Kohsaka, which looks entirely cool on the outside while being the geekiest member of Genshiken.

I also like Sasahara's tale of becoming a bona fide otaku, or a member of Genshiken at least. We all can relate to it some way or another.

But

The font in Del Rey's publishing is WAY too small. To make matters worse, the panels are also small and dark. Del Rey can fix the font maybe, but not the panels. I swear, I can't read one for more then a few minutes without rubbing my eyes to adjust.

haven't tried the Vista beta, so lets get that out of the way first. My biggest problem with Vista (if you can even call it a problem) is that I really don't see a need to upgrade. Sure, it looks better, but I can already get some comparable effects working on XP. My windows have nice, soft shadows. I have a OS X-like dock on the top of my screen. Nvidia users can turn on the transparency effects when dragging windows using the latest official drivers.

Cosmetics aside, I simply don't see a need to upgrade. XP works very well for what I use it for. Security-wise, I don't imagine there will be as much of an improvement upgrading from XP to Vista as opposed to upgrading from 98/ME to XP. It's not as if I do things that require high security anyway. What will push me to upgrade is the release of some sort of killer-app, and frankly, DirectX 10 games won't do it for me. I don't plan on upgrading my computer anymore for the next two years (at which point I'll hopefully have graduated and actually have some sort of income), and it's not like that Halo 2 exclusive for Vista is all that appealing.

But these negative points are really not all that negative. It's just that I don't see a reason to upgrade. If somebody can convince me otherwise, please do. However it looks like I'll be sticking with XP for a little while longer.

I like the idea of a halo game after Halo 3, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking foward to, the RTS may be hard to control on a console, I would definately buy it if it came out for PC , but I may have to concider it when it comes out for Xbox 360, I was wishing for a battlefront-like halo game where you could pick your class and all that, but I got an RTS, well we'll just see how it turns out!
