I think the embers and your other fire effects look fantastic! I always love that look. Good job overall, nice color choices on all your revisions, they each give a nice look to it.

I'm going to stab a guess and say something from J.J. Abrams, maybe Star Trek inspired this? Other than that, the blurring gives me a huge headache from looking at it. I'm not sure if it's too sudden of a blur right after being so clear or if it's just too much blur. What are the lens flares supposed to be for? What is the background? Is this a sunset they are standing in front of?

I like the soft look on vectors myself. My suggestion, and also what I personally do, is duplicate your art layer, put Gaussian Blur Radius 4.0. After you do that, make your duplicated layer, that you just blurred, 30% opacity. Try that out see if you like it. You can also check my vectors for some examples if you like. I learned this trick from another vector artist who was kind enough to share with me.

I finally got around to fixing the outlines and fixing the contrast issue.

I'm having a heck of a time navigating the pictures now since the thumbnails are different. Incredibly slow loading and general page freezes. I didn't have issues like that with the old thumbnails.

I do have the time, the problem is motivation. I've got several started, but lack the energy to follow through. I have been thinking about it for some time now though and would like to try again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that Coruscant in the background? Where's Boba Fett?

You did a nice job with the vector work, but I really think you couldn't have chosen a more messed up picture to work on. I'd have to disagree with the other poster, her neck and head look fine, its everything below her waist that is disfigured. I don't think you could possibly angle your butt that way in that position and even if you ignore that, her legs are two different lengths. Like I said your work is good, but its a hideous picture.

I was playing around with the coloring of her lips, but are you specifically speaking of the line of her mouth or the pink transparent color of her lips? I made them more transparent at the end, perhaps I should raise it up 5-10%? I also think I'm gonna do a little better on the lighting, more gradients and I can tweak the shadows then while I'm at it.

A side effect of photoshop, I tried to give them a glow of the sunlight hitting them as it was coming up.

I kinda think the colors look flat after you get past her hair, where you've got a nice gradient going. Her hair ties don't have any shadowing or detail to them really. Could add some gradient to the skin, make it look as if the light is hitting her in the direction the shadows are indicating. I see the red/pink lines that are in her waist of her swimsuit, you should consider doing the frilly parts of her bottoms in colored lines, would like nice in contrast to the black outlines. I don't think it's a bad vector, but could use a little more life to it.

I believe the mangaka who illustrated Deadman Wonderland also illustrated the manga version of Eureka 7. So it's interesting that you said that. Perhaps character designs were made by he/she.

As for the vector it seems to be fairly nice and clean. The colors seem directly sampled from the image I'm assuming and could use some tweaking, they come off as fairly dull and could be brightened up a bit. My only other problem is it's kind of small, I like big big pictures!

I think this would be an exceptional wallpaper, except for the horrible placement of your signature.

You did a good job vectoring it. However I don't understand the reason behind it, the scan itself was larger and easy to extract from and also didn't have text across her legs.

Yeah, like kwo0301 said, something looks like it's wrong with Mikuru's hand. Did you change the colors or mess with the contrast or anything with the picture? The vector of the girls I made should have been pretty easy to extract, if it wasn't I can give you a better one if you like.

I just finished watching this series and I appreciate new vectors, I don't thin there is enough good artwork of this out there. Nice work!
